forgot to mention that i have used TLA videos before for purchasing movies online (streaming, etc)

i know they offer an adult selection but ive never used it for such... is it possible they got my address from TLA?

So I called the number and they called me back within 10 minutes.  The lady on the other line was kind of friendly and wanted to get me to get the porn.  I just said I was 18.  She was completely dumbfounded and told me to save the number and call it back when I turn 19 or have a friend that's 20.  I think she said "my names dead now."  *sigh of relief* :)

i also recieved this yellow card final notice thing, all i got was asked for the ref. numbers above my name and phone number requested.
when i asked why i was being asked for my number they said they are only an answering service.
i was than promptly hung up on.

I bought some stuff about a month ago now from Adam & Eve site and got this stupid little yellow card telling me to call.  The fact that it has no sending address nor does it detail anything was a red flag for me.  Google'd their phone number and now I see that I'm not the only one being sold out.  Adam & Eve can suck it!  It isn't cool to sell our info!

do not give them any info on yourself... they took money out of my bank account after i told them not to... now i owe over draft fees thanks to these [***]

I got the dvd finally so I know now its notta hoax folks. I also got this card after using Adam & Eve to get my gf a v-day present.  I am very disappointed in the fact that they sold my info, I'll never buy from them again.

glad I googled this number..  I have no idea where they got my info from though, I've never ordered 'adult' materials.. the last thing i ordered was a purse from NM and a few mag subsriptions for my hubby, but not even playboy or anything more like dorky stuff like marvel comics, and rolling stone.. etc etc

Apparently they can get you some other way, too.  I've never subscribed to any adult publication or mail or online ordered any adult material, never used my credit card for any kind of adult purchase at all.  So they must be able to get you from other sources - cookies, maybe?  Or non-adult lists or publications.  They even had my short, not full first name on the address.

Just got the card in the mail. Decided to google the number. Thanks for all the input everyone. Sure, saved me a headache. Again thanks to all. Peace.

Yah, we got this card after we got our first Playboy in the mail.  This must have been the "FREE DVD" offer when you sent your post card in.  Not cool!

My idea is to just keep calling and hanging up or just ball and BS its usally the same lady who picks up so lets fight back and clog there phone lines..

Yeah, I got this card in the mail today. I figured it was some sort of scam, but wanted to check to make sure. I am glad I found this site. Shame on companies for 'we dont not sell your information' bull [***].

My wife and I purchase regularly from Adam & Eve and it's a shame that they are willing to sacrifice their name and reputation over a couple of bucks. I got the card in the mail this morning.

You don't have to have bought any adult materials in the past to be mailed the yellow card - I haven't. A common place your information may have been retrieved from may be a University directory.

Thanks everyone for letting me know about this B.S. Scam.  I wonder how long it will take to be off there mailing list.  On the yellow card it said it was my final notice, we will see.

i got the same card but when i called they told me the same thing i was a premium member or some crap like that anyways they never told me they were going to bill my acct before i got anything and when i  got the 2nd call she was saying ok we will bill the card for 39.75 and then i will get my magazines so i told her no i dont want it i was never told i had to be billed 1st the girl jessica told me that i will have to pay for it when i got everything in the mail and this 2nd girl was very rude to me after i said that and i told her i didnt want to sign up for it no way
