- annonymousIve worked at the place you guys are talking about, i was a live answering service.. When people called in I would take a number and have someone call back. when i was hired i had no idea what for, they told me to come in for orientation and there was none. i got thrown on the phone, not knowing what they told people just knew they sold magazines.. They get your info from a mailing list from what i found out, the sales people who call you back are in the next cubical over, they tell you someone will call you back to get your ph num.. the team lead girl told us to be flirty and to say we didnt know what the call was for, they got mad because I wouldnt flirt. the boss and his dad yells at the girls there, and the team lead girl goes back at treats the other girls bad. when i learned how they did things i started to look for a new job.. 2 week later i quit. But they explain it to you before you buy.. They are unorganized they are rude to the employees, they will not hire men. Theres never a first attempt, the way they get you is a scam, but you should never give your credit card number over the phone.. they do trick people into getting it for five years.. I do not agree with the way they do business.j9
- jesusdo you realize when you call ANY 800 number (888 and 877 included) your number is (can be) displayed, EVEN IF YOU HAVE BLOCKING ... it AUTOMATICALLY unblocks the number EVERY TIME ... stop calling these clowns ... once you call them, you have given them implied permission (you called and now you have a "relationship" with them) that they can call you, regardless of you being on the *do not call* registry
- ScammedOk. got the same card that everyone is speaking of. and like a [***] called the # back. but when they starting talking about all this "free" stuff I was like what the crap are you talking about. Told them i didn't want it, never gave them any credit info or anything. but they have my phone # and address. does this mean that i am going to be getting a pile of unwanted porn in the mail..? Any help would be appreciated. thanks.
- Not EveYo thx to all for this post and the info, oh and for listening!
- W.T.I bought my boyfriend a playboy subscription for his 27th birthday. Then I got this card... I'm so glad I googled the number before I called. I really was thinking it was for the DVD I am supposed to be getting for signing up for PLayboy.
- JeffreyAlso recently subscribed to Playboy for the first time and about 2-3 weeks later got the card in the mail. I've learned my lesson and before I call anyone, I always google the number. I just find it said a reputable company like Playboy would sell my info. Makes me wonder what they are doing with my CC #'s from their websites.
So I wouldn't take the chance on it. As everything I've heard, makes it a scam. If you need some porn, there plenty of it on the interest for free or the same $10 they will charge you for shipping.- Caller: Diamond Enterprises
- jeremyi took advantage of the service diamond enterprises offered. i knew it was a bad deal but figured i would try it, since i couldnt cancel it anyway. i paid through the nose, not for porn but for a multitude of subscriptions. it is not only porn they offer. now a year after the final payment was made, the charges started showing up on my statement again. i am in the middle of diputing the charges now, will update more later. do not accept anything from this company. once they have your cc #'s they will continue to bill you for services even after they have been paid in full.
- CoolieThey did not call me but sent a yello card with no return address no company name, asking me to call. Purely ou of curiosity I called the 1-800-755-8329 number and got some girl. She insisted on gettin the code above my mae in the address they typed on the card, while i insisted on knowing who they were. She wouldn't bulge and I wouldn't. I finally told her I would report them just like I saw many others had made complaints about them.
Some onesaid they got stuff from Adam and Eve; I also got some stuff from Adam and Eve and if this whole thing is "adult stuff related", then it must be that Adam & Eve sold my info too. - http://www.BrianJoslyn.bizThanks to 'Jason' for posting the address and the shipping fee for the free DVD!
- BobWow. Good thing I found this site. I recently got a playboy subscription and figured it had something to do with the free dvd I got as part of it.
I just got a similar yellow card in the mail, and googled up the number. Okay found the company...then googled the same number with "playboy" and found this. Sounds like a scam, and they won't be getting a call from me.
Just pathetic a company like Playboy would sell my info. Guess this subscription will only be for a year. - Kevin LewisCalled the # on it, she put me on hold and then asked me for my phone #, she said she would have someone call me right back from the company she didn't know the name of the company. Sounds like a hoax to me about some free video I am supposed to receive and they have tried to deliver.
- JoeThose sweet talking little witches conned me into buying 1 dvd of porn. Then the sent three more and charged my credit card for $39.90. I am trying to contact them to cancel. I wanted just one damn dvd. All the ph. numbers provided are a damn runaround!

- utahgirlI just got one of these yellow cards in the mail too. I'm glad I googled it, now I will not be calling the number. Very shady business practices! Thanks everyone for your info!
- LisaI got a yellow card in the mail today (Jan 27th) and it said to call the 800 number. So i did and left a message. IF they're trying to get my info they're outta luck cuz I have no credit cards and my credit is shot. If they call back I'll tell them i'm not interested and hang up on them.
- MikeAfter I googled the phone number on the card I found one link to this address selling adult dvd's. Like a few other here I had purchased from Adam And Eve. Lingerie for my wife to be exact. I thought they seemed pretty legit but if this is what they do with your info afterwards then it scares me that I bought from them online. I am going to keep close tabs on any activity on my credit card and will report Adam And Eve and this company below who's now trying to sell me porn.

- J.I appreciate all of your comments and information.
Got my little yellow card in the morning post.
Seems a very dubious way of doing business. - beefyI got this card also, google'd the 1800 number found this site thanks for the info. now the fun part i called that number and got the answering service left a nice little message for the broad. but to the guy that said something about adamandeve.com i'm guessing that's how these jokers got my info. so i called adam and eve and asked if they sold personal info the lady said no. so i went to take a look at there privacy policy and here is what i found...

I like how they give our info away and then turn around and say "we cannot be responsible for the privacy policies or practices of such third parties"
that's pretty jacked up - BGWe should be able to make complaints with the USPS. Anyone know the right way to do this? I never called the number, just received the yellow postcard. I recently subscribed to Playboy, we should all flood them with complaints.
- annoyedi also got a yellow card...with no return address. glad i looked on the internet first...you saved me from a load of crap and i thank you all for that! i had been on adam&eve.com too but never ordered a thing! next thing i know i am getting mail every other week from them tryin to sell me dvds...even though they say they will not sell your information...and everything will be shipped and billed discreately... i was disapointed to see that the mail from adam and eve says their name all over it and that there is adult material inside xxx...thats not very discrete if you ask me!!!!
