- Missed PaymentI agree with Privacy Laws, but other collection
Agencies would still identify the company they
Work for and leave discreet request to call them
Back :) I think it helps, as long as they don't harrass
You.- Caller: Sears
- Call type: Debt collector
- Bob and weaveIt's Morgan Chase bank. So if you have a Sears or Future Shop, which I have, then they are calling about late payments. Atleast with me anyway lol!
They never leave a message
They call 4/5 times a day at various hours.
When I did speak to them, I arranged to make a payment on a particular day. I don't know which day it was as they lady I spoke to was Indian and I could not understand a word she was saying. I guess that day has come and gone.
I told them I would make a payment when I received a cheque which I still haven't received. They can wait a bit longer for their $25 I guess!!- Caller: Chase Morgan Bank
- sears replies to *?*?*?*i paid them off but from the time i paid off the account til the new statement came out i owed them $4,34 in interest which i was unaware off cause when i paid it the man said it was paid in full
i just googled the number and found it was them
now i paid THAT AMOUNT ON LINE
I WONDER if i'll have interest again
i just answered the phone and the guy asked me for that payment then he goes opps it was completly paid off. now I will see next month. i called them back for fun, now she says i didn't need to pay that little bit of interest cause the account was paid in full last time now they will owe me so now what do . CRAZY PEOPLE - AnonIt's weird because they called and left a message saying "This is <so and so> from Chase calling for <blank> please call us back" and they weren't calling for me. So now I'm a little worried. At least I know it isn't a sham.
- Monica Rodneythey are calling my work several times even though they have been told i am on mat leave i pay them every month and they are still calling.
- Caller: Chase
- MaeveI'm being harassed by these people...they are calling my cell phone. Of course they do not leave a message and the phone is turned off most of the time. I don't do business with Sears, have no department store credit cards (and don't want any of these financial losers). I have no outstanding debts with Sears or Future Shop and never heard of "Chase" until I read this site. I pay all of my debts off in full and on time.
For sure, it will be a frosty day in helll before I go into Sears.- Caller: SEars / Chase / Future Shop
- DMKNon-stop calling - day & night
- Caller: unknown
- PAY YOUR BILLS replies to buntingYes! I'm a Collector! So What! Don't Pay your Bills in that way I will have something to work on!! Dont Bring Your accounts up todate in that way I won't lose my job! You want to get rid of us??!! Pay your Bills Unless you are too POOR to pay it!
- ddlangThese people have been calling every couple of hours, but they do not leave a msg. If they would call and say; calling on behalf of your Sears Account...maybe; just maybe people would be more open to taking their calls. By the way... I am late one payment ...for 35.00 DOLLARS!!!!
God! How can these people be proud of their jobs and furthermore: How can Sears be happy on how their customers are being treated. Giving up the card... SEARS...you can shove it where the sun dont shine!!
Certainly dont need to be harrassed and certainly dont need to be paying 29% interest!!- Caller: CHASE
- Call type: Debt collector
- BillyChase calls but leaves no message. Trouble is they have been calling every 1/2 hour. And of course; because it is an unknown number, I dont answer the call. Why dont they leave a message? And why do they call to the point of harrassment?? Sears Customer Service SUCKS!!! Even though Chase is representing you as a debt collector, should there not be some guildlines on how to handle a Sears Customer? Or is Sears not interested in Customer retention? And is Chase more interested in reaching its quota , rather than treating people with respect??
- Caller: CHASE
- Call type: Debt collector
- dnoc replies to get educatedif that's the case, then why ru posting on this board????????? miss a payment???

- Mcleod| 1 replyI received a call from the number 8007994424 this week, and spoke to a lady named "EMMA". At first, I already knew that she is NOT Canadian because of her accent, she was forcing herself to sound convincing and to sound Canadian but she failed. LOL. She sounded like she was from Asia or India or whatever. Anyway, she was asking for me but I told her that I was just the caretaker. The lady wont provide me any other details aside from CHASE. She kept on saying about privacy laws blah blah blah. and she's very rude! she sounded very annoying. I couldve asked for her full name so that i can search her on facebook and check how ugly she is. LOL
- Caller: Chase?
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Ray replies to AnonymAccount closed over four months ago paid up in full and it has been confirmed with Sears in writing " paid in " full no balance outstanding I still get statements showing a balance and get several collection calls a day.
Speaking to caller is like talking to a wall. My explanation of paid in full falls on deaf ears.
People who reply to these complaints like pay your account there wouldn't be any collection call - Wake up and do not play stupid. - Brian replies to get educatedYou should take your own advice. No need to leave account information or detailed messages. Leaving the name of the company and a contact number in which they can be reached is sufficient at does not violate the Privacy Act. The message need not be more detailed than for someone to return a call. As for making payments on time...well....[***] happens.
