What bothers me is that they have my first and last name, and my address....

i really wish this person would quit calling my cell. it is my work phone not far a**holes like him to be calling. 1-800-888-7890 can f**k off.

well for one its not a telemarkiter. its a scam they want you to pay the 1.95 so they can get your bank account or credit card information. and 2 the reason when you call the number back all you get is a operator is becuase they are routing there actual number through a series of fake numbers. not very hard to do with a computer a modem and a cell phone.

Just got a call from this number.  The rest of you can count yourselves lucky to have won a digital and a free trip for only $1.95 postage.  The fool tried to sell me ladies condoms for $10.00.  I told him what people use condoms for and invited him to use one on himself.

they called me, for the past 3 days, and today i had the time and answered it. i said no put me on the do not call list, i will never be interested i do not care how cheap, and he said "i will call you again and again and again and again etc" so i said bye and hung up, damn foreigners. im not interested in buying your product anyways, so dont be abnoxious about it.

This is the second time I received a call from this number

i was called yesterday and today at really inappropriate times by this number.

some indian guy called me on my cell and used very bad and abusive language.

this number has called me like 6 times, in about a month. the first few times i answered there was nothing. then it called me back, and i let it go to my voicemail, it was some crazy mexican guy yelling at my vmail in spanish. then they called me again a few days later, and it was some crazy pakistan, or some middle eastern accent guy who couldn't give me a straight answer as to why he had called me.

this number belongs to apex services. today at about eight fifteen a.m., they tried 'giving away' a camera to me.

i also getting call from these number n they r telling me same like u won digicam n trip something they had called me 5 times in a day n some one called tarang was speaking. i know tht he is a indian guy because i m indian n i knw his ancent he was askin me to give my bank account number. i just told him tht i was on the job so cal me after 3 hrs he is still callin me. but i m nt answering him. dnt believe on this kind of people

They called me 3 times yesterday. I had already read all the comments here and knew what crap they were capable of so I just let them talk for a while and then explained I dont have a checking account. They dont wanna deal with "those" kind of people....haha. He wont call back.

This is the second time these whatever the hell these people are called me and again i told them to take me the hell of the list and they just hang up on ya the gap has been around 5 days so ill just wait and see if they call back in another 5 and hopefully get some info on them this time and make a road trip anyone want to tag along for some good old fashion American justice.

so, what happens if you fall for the scam? does anyone know? is it identity theft? or do they take all your money?

I had just received a call from 800-888-7890 and it was an Indian guy giving me his sales pitch about the same thing, 7.0 megapixel camera and 3 day 2 night trip to anywhere I want. I told him whats the catch he laughed and said no catch my friend to later go on to needing my bank and bank account. I only went as far as telling him my bank name which he found the routing number for. He also knew my street address. He was kept asking for the account number over and over and assure me that by law he can only verify $1.95 out of the account from me over the phone. I told him you were very informative and thanks for the call but I have to decline. He then before I hung up starting screaming whats wrong with you [***] with his thick accent. I just started screaming back THANK YOU BYE!!!

So how do I prevent this person from ever ever calling me again. I don't like the fact he has information on me right off the bat before even talking to him. How, Why and What can we all do to prevent people like him on doing so?

Oh and my 2nd question can he do any damage knowing my bank name? Which was probably the only thing he didn't know right up till I had told him. He found the routing number on his own. Thats the only personal info I gave, just the bank name nothing else.

He called my son, because he had my phone and said hello my name my is bob and i am from apex services, my son asked what this was about he said that we were selected to recieve a free digital camera and then he kept talking about it and then he asked if he had a bank account and my son said that i am a14 y ears old and i still live at home and i said i dont know who you are and you might be hacking he said no no we dont take money out of your account and then he was becomming a smart ass. and he kept on talking and then he hung up on me

They called me twice today within 2 hours and never said anything! Just sits there till they decide to hang up! Tryed to call back like other people and it says I cant call from my area or something like that!

I have repeatedly told/asked these [***] to quit calling me and they won't stop. They must be ignorant of the laws pertaining to communication harassment!!
