- YordI start getting phone calls as early as 8 in the morning and receive phone calls up to 4 times a day. I usually don't pick up phone calls from any unknown #'s so I wait for them to leave a voicemail so I know who is calling before I return the phone call. Well, they never leave a voicemail or anything. It is getting out of control and is very annoying at the same time. I'm blocking this # and contacting Discover visa..
- DiggerTHIS IS A PHISHING SCAM!!! - DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION
I just got off the phone with the Real Discover. They researched this phone # and it is not associated with any of their systems.
There are No Concerns with my account, I am ahead of my payments. The real discover card has not called me for any reasons in over 2 months.
They have sent this to their Fraud Department.- Caller: Not Discover
- Call type: Telemarketer

- Sandy replies to anonymousThey called me, claiming i was over on my account and wanted to set up arrangements to correct the situation. I didn't think that i was over on my account "Discover". I told them i would take care of it and hung up. Glad i did because when i checked it out. They are lying! I am not over on my account. I think this is a SCAM! I would just hang up and if you can report them.
- OregonI received several voicemails from this number today. I called back because my account is in good standing and payment was always sent in on time. Come to find out it was for a promotion ... set up an automatic payment and get back $40. They had the routing number and last 4 digits of my checking account. Since I always set up my online payment in advance, I went ahead and ok'd an auto payment on my due date. I thought about the call a few minutes after I hang up and decided to research the number (1-800-951-0062), and the screen came up with SCAM alerts. So, I called my bank right away to put a restriction on my account until I get more answers. I called the number in the back of my Discover card (1-800-347-3085), and the first agent who answered did find that a call was placed to my number, but didn't have any other information about the purpose of the call. She transferred me to another department and this agent confirmed that they did call with the automated payment set up. I asked her to confirm the telephone number that the call came from and she couldn't find it, but said it's probably legit because there several phone numbers they use. However, after all these verifications, I still feel very uncomfortable with how the whole thing transpired. I don't feel confident about the safety and security of my account, and the way the agents handled my calls ... they didn't seem very concerned that I was a bit uncertain about the whole thing, kind of in a hurry to end my call. Bottom line is that, even though this is a legitimate promotion, Discover needs to reassess the way they deliver their customer service.
- Caller: DISCOVER Card
- ReggieI have been getting these phone calls for a few weeks now. I usually miss the calls because of my work schedule. I finally answered the phone and no answered me and then they hung up. But they aren't afraid to leave me 2-3 voicemails a day. I have emailed discover to see if this is really them.
- Caller: Discover???
- AliciaI called the customer service dept for Discover about this number and they told me it was their special promotions department and transfered my call to them. They were looking to offer a 40 dollar credit to my account for having automatic payments set up. Knew the due date of my card, the checking account number I use to make payments. Since I was transfered to them through a legit Discover number I do believe that this is not a scam. A year or so back I had been called about a similar promotion which I had signed up for with no issues.
- Caller: Discover
- Travis TaylorI don't answer calls I don't know. I always let it go to voice for them to leave a message. They never do. They always call early in the morning.
- JodiContinued calls. I have placed them on blocked calls. I don't know who it is. No voicemail left from the caller.
- Rev W. R. HunterWho,so calling and what for
- JohnCertain it's fraud..Gotten several calls and of course no message. I work for a bank and doubt Discover would do this or ask for auto-payment enrollment by phone.. Never give any info of any kind to anyone you are not 100% certain they are legit.
- No it is not Hardship replies to AngelaYou are making it up gal.
- Barb ZDiscover called to say i was over my credit limit and wanted me to set up automatic payments. If i did, they would take off $10 from my acct. They already had my bank acct info on file from previous transactions. They just wanted my approval and the date i wanted the auto-deduction. I agreed to a one-time withdrawal to bring my acct in compliance.

- Xray GuyI called Discover to confirm that this is NOT one of their numbers. After the first time I was called and didn't pick up the unknown number, I blocked it on landlines and mobile. Have received up to 2 daily attempts for several weeks. Also reported it to the FCC -- for what that's worth....

Gotcha, I actually show that someone did just speak with you, their first name begins with a C. Looks like they had offered to set up an auto-pay as well.
