We have an unlisted phone number and we'd like for this place to remove our name and number from their list.
They are very aggressive and won't take no for an answer to leave us alone.
We never donate or buy from solicitors.

I will not donate anything through a telephone call no matter how rude or polite the caller may be, it only brings in more calls from other organizations looking for donations.  May I suggest to send letters - I cannot hang up on your letter; or place donation boxes throughout Utah businesses - I drop coins into those all the time.  Better luck on your fund drive, but please do not have a caller say, "This is so and so police department, but don't worry - you are not in trouble - ha, ha!" - that's as far as they get before they hear a click.  Good luck.

Calls at 800 AM. Last call I did not answer, as came up on caller id.  Same comments can we count on your help, told him thought 8 (some people do work nights)was a bit early to call and he said would try again at a later date.

Call me twice a day, morning and night, month after month.

Get a different hobby!

Wow, this totally freaks me out!!! So sorry to all of you that have been receiving phone calls from my previous phone number. I obtained the number from Qwest about 3 years ago. I have no association with those who are calling you. I no longer - I repeat - NO LONGER have this number. I totally get the frustration and anger but please do not go searching for me or post my facebook address for all to see when I am SO not the person or organization responsible for the harassment.

Have called several times, and go through the whole speech, even though it was my child who answered the phone - and asked my child to donate.  A little ridiculous.  I called them right back at the same number, and received customer service, where I asked to be put on their do-not-call list.  Since they are a "non-profit", they may be exempt from the National Do Not Call Registry (so dumb!).  Just call them and ask to be on THEIR do-not-call list.

These people have been calling my number for 6 years now and each time they ask for Mr. Forsythe and every time they call I tell them there is no Mr. Forsythe at this number and I then ask them to remove me from their call list. They apparently have no respect for that request as they call my number every year and keep calling til I til them I am not interested. My suggestion is answer and listen to their 60 second ramble then tell them to hold on while you go get your wife to talk to them. Then just sit the phone down for a couple of minutes and let them wait. Then pick the phone back up and tell them your sorry but your wife is taking a crap and it must be a bad one and can she call them back...then say wait a minute I think I hear her coming now.
Again set the phone down for a minute then return and apologize and say no she was just screaming in pain. Hopefully your consumption of their time will discourage any further calls.

I have received this call at least 5 times a day for the last 3 weeks. I called the number back and found it to be "The fraternal order of the Police. I asked them to remove my number. They asked for my number then she asked if my name was Linda P.... I advised yes she then said it would take 24 hours to have number removed. We will see......

Who ever it was just kept repeating "Hello, Hello".  I hung up.

This number called me over and over and over and over again last January and now it has started up again. I have no idea how they have gotten my cell phone number in the first place, but it needs to stop!

I hated to find out the Utah FOP is a legitimate organization.  It's easier to hate crooks.
That doesn't change the fact that
I WILL NEVER DONATE TO THEM, OR ANYONE ELSE WHO CALLS ASKING FOR A HANDOUT.  Except maybe if the federal government called asking for help with the mess Obama has made of things.  Naturally I would want to contribute some of my skimpy disability income to help out our wonderful government.  
Hell, let's add crackheads to that list.  I'm feeling generous.

Just curious what "Utah FOP" is and why they're calling me 2-3 times a day??  Even when I do pick up the phone they hang up, it's driving me crazy!  The number is 801-359-4118.

I tried calling the 8013594116 they said that this number was  not in service i just hung up the phone.
