someone calls everyday and no answer...annoying me

I get this number calling me all the time at night and at first I never picked up but now when I do, it's just silence. So annoying!

called a few times within the same couple hours. went to voice mail. person said "hello" in a vacant voice. then said something (like three words) inaudibly in an excited voice. then hung up. WTF?

got 6 calls in 4 days.They used numbers:

801-623-4621

How do you get them to stop? I sent email today to Verizon. Probably will not do any good.

If I find out what company or politician initiated these calls thru this company, I will never deal with them again.

I got a call today from this phone number and no one said anything.  They just held the line.  I got mad and also held the line.

Got a call from this number 801-623-4621 on my unlisted number (that I NEVER give out and do not use when I order items) last night at 6:51.  When I answered there was a pause before person said anything.  He indicated it was a survey, so I hung up.  These have to be random calls and not from any company I have done business with, because as I said above, I do not use this phone number for anything (it is called ring mate).  Once again, I shall file a complaint with the "Do Not Call" registry.  Phones are becoming one of the most annoying things on this planet.

When I answered, there were several short beeps, then silence, then a dead line

I have received many calls from this number over the past few days. They do not leave a voice mail from the call.
I am on the Do not Call List.

Glad to have found this site and finally halfway solved the mystery. I get the same things you guys have already mentioned: no message on the answering machine, and they just hang up when I've picked up instead of letting the machine get it. They suck. If they're doing a survey or something, they should know they have to actually SPEAK in order to do so!

Why don't they leave a #@$!!'-in message???  Grrr.  And how do they get cell phone numbers?  I don't even give that # out to anyone except family/friends.  Weird.

I just found this on the company's website, it says you can send an "opt-out" message to them via email and supposedly they'll stop calling.  I'm going to try it.  send message to:  optout@westernwats.com

They've called twice.  It's a brand new cell number and should be unknown to this company.

This company keeps calling 4-5 times a day. I finally answered and told them to take me off their calling list or I would report them. And they said they didnt have to obey by them rules

Lady asked to speak to the "lady of the house".
I informed her that there is no such person at my house.
