Seriously People?  Its your own damn voicemail message being barely audible through the earpiece, playing into the MIC of your own phone... and It happened while you were ordering mexican food.  Hell, the number of times you walk by a mexican talking to someone each day without even realizing it where it could have gotten picked up on your mic are literally in the hundreds...

Ya... if they're calling you from fake businesses and numbers in Costa Rica and India, how the hell are you gonna get them to show up at a trial in a court house in America?

Thats because you were indeed getting calls from another number... and this dude was leaving you voicemails.  Then YOUR own system prompts you to dial the number you listed to check your OWN voice mail.

OMG this concept is not that difficult people.  YOu are not being called BY this number.  This number ties you into your OWN voicemail where you hear all the messages you are being left by DOZENS of numbers.

Often what is the case is your own phone pocket calls this number.  If you check your call log and know how to tell the difference, you'll see every time this number has actually been called on your phone it was OUTBOUND.  LMAO this is the greatest troll in history!  Non tech savvy people getting trolled by themselves on their own phones, haha!

805-637-7243 is a number T-Mobile uses for YOU to get your voicemail, it's not a spammer but the voicemail in your T-Moblle voicemail may be a spammer. After listening to the message and ignoring it, the T-Mobile Voicemail prompt came on line asking what to do with the message. I selected delete, then I went to my phone log and put the original phone number (not this one) on my black list.

Dob't block this number it's your voicemail messages.

I have a tracfone and not a t-mobile. the call comes in under 1-616-613-2126 and the voice mail under this other number. I only use my phone in emergencies. I didnt bother to call back or listen to the vm.

I got a robocall from them about 10:00 last night telling me that they knew my card number and to verify it by pressing 1. Ended the call and checked my phone log for the number so I could search for it on Google, and found several complaints listed on 1800 Notes. Some of the posts were very informative-this is either someone spoofing the T-Mobile voicemail access number to trick their customers into giving out their card number (which T-Mobile shouldn't need because they should already have it on file) or someone calling from a blocked number (in which case their number won't show up, but the T-Mobile number will). Was very concerned about the number being spoofed, so called T-Mobile to report it-they said they would be looking into it, and not to press 1 to verify my information. Makes me wonder what other information the scammer would be able to verify-my sim card and contact list for example? Pressed 7 to delete.

Had been calling my cell phone constantly daily, nite and day, but not leaving messages. I worked 13 hours and noticed that this caller had called 11x . Who is this caller that's been bugging me all the time ?

Same thing states I have a voice mail from this number, and then no voice mail.  Call the number and its nothing.

One of a number of calls I get throughout the day on my cell, with them leaving a message and then no talking!

THis might be the most different experience than all that I have read!

I have a Factory Unlocked iPhone 4 on T-Mobile

So I was sending a text out and noticed that it failed to send. So I tried again, and again and no dice! I restarted the phone and same thing. Then my signal went! No Service for at least 30min! I take the sim out and clean it then put it back in and it took about 10min before it even caught a signal! So I tried to send the text again and STILL wouldnt go through!

Well I thought, let me try calls. So being so late right now, I just called the VM. It said call failed right away! Damn... no calls either!! What was strange was that the VM came up as a contact, which it shouldnt have because I didnt need to add it as such in order for it to work. Now what made it SUPER strange was that the contact photo.... was JUSTIN BIEBER?!?!?!?!?!? WTF?! I am a 28y/o black male and have NEVER even remotely liked him enough to want his picture in my phone!!!

SO I am trippin out at how that happened! I search and come here to learn that the number is said to be a backdoor vm. That's fine but I don't need it and never have needed it!! I go ahead and delete it, and paint me gold and call me buddah, everything works again!!! VM goes through and so did texts!!!

It's as if the contact was some sort of trojan that blocked all comm from my phone!! I am keeping a watchful eye on it and I am sending this experience to T-Mobile and a bunch of other hack sites to see if anyone can identify what happened!!

Received voicemail from this number 805-637-7243.  Whoever, did not say anything and then hangup.  I made the mistake on line last night of order a couple free samples of tooth whitener and very sorry that I did that.  Phone number, credit card info (very small amount), etc.   Can you tell me who this numbers belongs to?  I will be watching closely VISA card that I am not currently using.

It is from T-Mobile...for a survey after you call the 611 (cust support number).

I just got the same call today, years later.  The caller seemed to be talking to someone else and message was garbled.  Thought someone but dialed me.  When I returned call, it was a message center and with a recording aksing me if I knew the mailbox I wanted.

This is getting very old! I use Tracfone and have lost too many minutes trying to find out who is calling from this number.
