Call several times a day, wait for voicemail to pick up and after they make the message lite come on, they hang up.. no message no nothing.

Calls my home, tells my son that they are a cousin, and need to talk to me about some family matters.

These people are rude, nasty and stupid!! They take the time to call me at work and listen to the company directly to get my direct line and still can't get the name correct, so of course they call and don't even come close to saying the name correctly so of course I tell them that, that person does not work here, so then they get rude and tell me that's funny she is in your company directory so I have to tell them to go back and listen to it again and get the name correct and then for the thrid time I tell them no personal calls are allowed at work, and they have the nerve to call me a lier because I tell them the person they are asking for doesn't work here, and then I tell them no personal calls and when I remind them that they have been told not to call here anymore they hang up and oh what a shocker when you call that stupid 810-244-4253 number back it just goes busy.. you can't even call them back..

they've called me at least three time, but i never answer numbers that i don't recognize. there was a short voice mail left. a man named Bill, i believe, who left a message offering me a "great business opportunity.

It's called skip-tracing people!  They have the right to call you, your neighbors, your friends, etc.

This very rude man called me about a fictional $411.81 loan that I co-signed (supposedly) with someone I have never heard of.  When I told him so, he gave an address (not mine) and no town and then told me that he was a collection agency.  He further rudely told me that he found it "strange" that they would have my name and cell number and it wouldn't be true and asked me to verify my social security number.  Anyone with an ounce of brains knows that to fill out any kind of loan you have a soc. sec. number!  I refused and told him this was a 'cold call' and he didn't even understand the terms!  Nothing showed on caller ID except the phone number, unfortunately.  I believe this to be a scam.

just think we wouldn't exist if you paid you bills.  Lets be responsible adults pay the things that we owe. consider it a privilege that we call before a recommendation is placed to sue!  we know everything about you, here everything we need and see everything you can imagine.  save your self a lawyer. pay your bills

I get calls from this number regularly at random times of the day. My cell phone is for emergencies only, so I don't answer numbers that I don't recognize, and my voicemail box is full so people can't leave messages (waste of minutes listening to them). Then, I started getting calls on my work cell phone. I have no idea how they got that number, but if they are contacting anyone I work with, I definitely consider it harassment. I tried calling the number back, and I get a message that states that no one is available and to call back at another time, with no option of leaving a message. I have no clue what these people want, and I really think it's crazy that it would even be legal to do this sort of thing.

Called my cell a few times.  When I answer, no one is ever there and no messages left.

They are calling me every day, sometimes more than once per day, on my cell phone.  Since I don't recognize the number, I don't answer.  They never leave a voice message.  If they have legitimate business, why do they not leave a message so I can return their call?

a Mr. Shaw called from this number to tell me that I have a medical bill from 2 years ago that had not been paid. the fact that the bill was not paid was the insurance company and hospitals fault because i have coverage for the entire surgery. he said he has been trying to contact me for 2 years and now that he has gotten ahold of me "it's time for you to give up and pay". i have not recieved "any" calls from him or anyone else about an unpaid bill so this was really confusing. he told me to give him my bank routing number and information or a credit card number. i told him 'no' because it #1 is not my bill to pay and #2 i have no prove that he is legit and isn't going to use my info to completely screw me.
he was sarcastic, yelling, and harassing me.  this is poor business practice if it is a legit company. using scare tactics and harassment is not an effective way to get what they want. and i bet they are all high school dropouts who can't do anything else, so they are paid to take their agression out on others

The company is called Merchants and medical credit corp. I have a medical bill with them AND a gym membership.. so it's not just all medical debt. I am dissapointed to say that i actually contacted THEM. I just received my credit report and had no idea what that company was on it so i called them. From the sound of it they are not going to leave me alone now.
The woman i spoke with wasn't exactly rude to me but she was very pushy about me paying off my debt. I explained to her my income and that it was just not realistic for me to be paying her the amount she asked for.. so she kept acting like she was "working with me" I finally just gave in to get her off the phone. I spoke with a friend who informed me that the people who handle these cases.. trying to collect on your debt make COMISSION off of whatever money you send them. So no wonder they are so rude, and pushy. YOU are paying THEIR bills.

I am sending her a check for 2 dollars. as long as you are sending them something.. they can't do anything.

They called me again yesterday, and this time, I answered.  On my cell phone, during peak minutes.  All that was there was a recording that said something like, "you will be connected to an assistant in a moment."  It repeated 5 times and then hung up on me.  I agree with the other poster who said that it's just their way of keeping records to show that they had a "conversation" with you regarding the debt.  And BTW, I owe them nothing.  I have one medical debt collection company who is bothering me over an office visit that the doctor's office billed incorrectly, so it wasn't paid by my insurance.  They are not this company.  I don't know what these people want because they won't talk to me when I answer, and they won't leave messages when I don't.

This company has called several times. I tell them everytime they have the wrong person/number but they still continue to call. I am glad to see what their address is. I do not live too far from Flint maybe I should take a ride there and knochk on their door and tell them in person! Maybe they won't be so bold. I also understand that Atty Richard Austin on Church in Flint is the owner behind all of this.

She married Mark Alan Hresko 4-19-80. The MAIN ADDRESS listed is 6324 Taylor Dr , Flint MI and the main phone number is 810 239-3030.
  Genesee County is available on line for the public to view anything from their marriage info to a deed search to see what they own. Maybe they won't feel so bold once their information becomes public. Also go to www.zabasearch.com and you will find their private addresses and their telephone numbers are also listed!

Please don't tell me that this is the same ROBERT CAIRNDUFF who is the CHIEF FIREMAN for the CITY of FENTON? I hope he is not using his position and resources available to him to locate people he is collecting from! I think someone needs to investigate. There has to be something wrong with using information available to him as a public official to profit from in his private life. I have to believe he has access to the same system that the police have to look up people. This is how he is finding people.

if any of you are still having problems with this call: Monday - Thursday 8:15am to 9:00pm EST, Friday 8:15am to 5:30pm and Saturday 8:15am to 12:30pm by calling 800-562-0273. tell them that you can't get a hold of anyone regarding your bill... that is what i just did and i talked to a ms. bradshaw. she was very polite and asked me a couple different names to see if i knew them. and that is was a wrong number and she was so sorry and was taking it off the list.
when i was trying to call the number that called me it was always busy. therefore looked up another number
