I received a call on my landline (caller ID Flint Mi 810 244-4253)did not leave message only hear background noise .Date of call./3/3/09. Do not know how they got my number.

pay your bill, u wouldnt get these calls. deadbeats.

Normally I don't answer calls from numbers i don't reconize but i'm selling stuff online right now and gave a few people my number and this number called me so i answered.  It was a recording that said "Transfering your call to an attendent one more please" about five times then they hung up.

Ok so I get if you have a bill you need to pay it mr. wine/cheese, and pay your bills your both retarted, and obviously haven't read all the comments about how the Stupid company doesn't speak to you when you answer your phone so why don't you both get a life. Also, we all know that you get more flies with honey than vinegar I pay the polite creditors the rude ones can shove IT!!!!!

I got a call from this # too. Took awhile to catch them when they called, but once I talked to the lady and figured out what was going on, and where the debt came from, I realized it was an oversight and payed it immediately. Have you people ever thought about paying YOUR bills? Answer your phone and figure out WHY they are calling and handle your business instead of tying to avoid the calls and the bills! I used to be a collector years and years ago, and I know how hard the work is. Be greatful they are calling to tell you of the bill instead of just taking you to court...which has also happened to me when I didn't know about a bill before!

They keep calling my cell phone and never leave a message and then when I called back the phone just rang and rang and rang. If it is a business, they WILL leave a message.

Her name is Crystal!!!!! I finally got that bit of information out of her.  She is the rudest person I have ever encountered, and I don't know why she is calling. Everytime I pick up the phone she ends up hanging up on me. She refuses to leave a message and is atrocious. We need to find a way to stop her.  She keeps calling and everytime I tell her that the person she requests to talk to is not here (which is true) so she hangs up.  Today I said I would like to know where she is calling from, and she refused to answer.  Now, she may or may not be a bill collector, but I sure am not going to be cooperative if she will not tell me who she represents.  We need to shut her down.

They called the house today and was asking for my sister, mom answered told them she was not home and then proceeded to get rude saying how can you not know when your daughter gets home and called my mom a rude lady.  

I understand if you don't pay your bills you are going to get called.  On the other hand do the bill collectors have to be insulting and rude to the person not paying their bill/s and also their family members?  I think that is not right.  

I was upset so I called the place back at 810-239-3030 and asked for the guy who identified himself on the phone to my mother, how convenient he was not available 10 min. after calling my house.  I talked to his supervisor said she'll get to the bottom of it.  She also asked if the number had been googled, evidently she wasn't sure how we got the number to call them back.  

I understand bills must be paid, but being rude to those and their family members and not identifying yourself when you call, what do you expect.  Pretending to be somebody and misleading and lying to those won't get you very far.

I just wanted to say where yes, there have been a lot of bill collectors that are harassing, mmcc is not one. They may call you at more than one number more than once a day, butthey are not calling the same number over and over again unless you tell them to call back..the system won't let them, nice try you bunchof complainers. Yes I work there, and yes I'm actually in collections for a few bills myself, so I do understand what its like. And for those of you who shun what we do, yes its a job and if it helps be support my little girl then it helps me sleep at night. What people fail to understand is thatits not all medical, some of the bills are shopping bills. so you had the money to go shopping, but not pay for it? I mean really. And whether we're mean to you or not, people always snap at the idea that we're calling them. Seriously, you owe the money, you have to pay. nothing is free...None of us would have jobs if everything way free. And stop lying, we get lied to on a regular basis. Everything from 'i don't live here anymore' even as far as people saying someone has died when they haven't...how morbid?Grow up...
Yes I agree, some places do go above and beyond to intimidate you, I am not condoning this act...but i'm telling you, a lot ofthe accusations are being blown out of proportion because everyone wants to sue someone...or is embarrassed that they owe money.  Be honest, pay what you can, or at the very least, quit yelling at us, we are doing our jobs and we didnt' put you into collections, you did...

and we don't say what we're calling for to third party people to save face for you...seriously, when you're dodging your bill and we happen to talk to you grandma (because you gave us the number or the place that you're trying to rip off did), do you really want us telling her you're in collections? I'd think you'd appreciate that we're respecting your privacy

and we dont make commission on what we bring in...seriously, get your facts straight.

They called me today and when i asked who was calling a man named "Paul Murphy" said that he was returning my call and he acted like he knew me. He wouldnt tell me why he was calling so i ended the call and he called back again but i did not answer.

an adam called me looking for my brother, didnt say he knew him but was freindly enough to seem so. wouldnt tell me why he called said a personal matter was at hand and needed to discuse buiness with him.= bill collector.
i asked he what biz i will let him know, he wouldnt said that he couldnt was a federal law and he needed to respect my brother. wtf.
