They disguised their name for caller ID. It came up as State College PA, and under a phone number that didn't match the automated announcer...it was BofA asking questions about their lousy credit card...wanted me to sign up for automated payment. Fat chance. How can this be considered legitimate or credible? Obnoxious and false.

I just received a call from this number and an actual message.  They said that they were open until midnight.  Problem.  I don't have my cell phone registered with my cc or other bills.

They call my cell phone at all hours of tha day and night. I hate that I would have to pay to block it through my cell provider. I'm on the do not call list and this doesn't even help! When a message is left from this number, it is an automated message telling me to call yet another number. I wish it would stop!

I got a call from this number this morning saying it was BOA.  They had the amount that I had owed correct and asked if I wanted to take care of it over the phone.  I said sure because I just got a call from my hospital a couple of days ago and I took care of it over the phone.  He asked if I wanted to use the checking acct. I had on file, I said sure.  He didn't ask for any of the numbers.  I feel dumb that I said they could do this, but I'm watching my BOA balance and checking balance carefully.

This number 1-814-234-7699  constantly calls all durign the day. Who is it and why so many calls taht is nwo becomign a nuisance. Please stop calling!

These people called me stating that I had underpaid a BofA Master Card by $9 and if I would give him my Checking Acct#, I would avoid the $39 penalty. I told him I *never* give information like that to anyone who calls me!  He was insistent but I refused.  Then I checked my records and found that I don't even have a M/C with the number he referenced.  Do *NOT* give your checking number or any other info to this StateCollege, PA SCAM!

Afterwards, I found that the card# he gave me did NOT match my BofA VISA. NEVER give your SSN or Acct# to anyone who calls YOU. Identity theft can cost you a LOT more than a late fee.!!

Hi all...our call was legit..i did my own research online & called bank of america to verify!  so you may not think you are past due but can actually be the case!

called twice on november 24, 2009, back to back, never left a message.

Bank of America calling to tell you you are late on your credit card payment.  They call the minute you are late, not waiting the 30 days before sending report to credit bureaus.  They have stepped up this activity during the last year of economic difficulty.  I think is is effective for them, as less people default or go more than 30 days late if they start getting reminder calls right away.  They'll call for 30 days before you get reported to credit agency, so just because they are calling doesn't mean you have bad credit.  If you don't want them to call, pay your credit card bills sooner

When you call them back to tell them to take your phone number off the list they tell you that they cannot find your phone number and will you give them your social security number.

BTW..they say they are Bank of America

Starting receiving calls from this number.  First on my work line and then my cell phone.  I'm currently with a debt consolidation company and BOA is being paid monthly as stated with contract from debt company.  Don't know why they are calling me. (if this is even BOA, don't know for sure since I haven't answered the phone) I guess if it keeps up, I'll refer them to call the Debt company and discuss payment amounts with them.

March 2, 2010 Card Sevices = Bank Of America. They called 3 times in 30 minutes at dinner time. I don't answer the phone when we sit down for dinner but I am late for the first time ever on paying my bill so I am sure they are looking to collect money.

Have called me several times asking for Nancy.  Told them every time I'm not Nancy, they have the wrong number and to stop calling.  They will not stop calling, very irratating.

Call my number 3-4 times a day for the past 3 weeks. Read these and other blogs about it being BofA so I checked my credit report to see if there was any fraudalant activity. If they are Bank of America, it's a scam because I do not and have never had a Bank of America account.
