This is a BOA number, however, it could just be a marketing call.  I contacted my local branch to verify and they called the number themselves and it's legit.  They then transferred me to card services to double check on my credit cards status and after reassuring me that there was nothing wrong they told me it could be the "sales" seeing if I want to change the type of card I have, etc.  SO, if you doubt, contact your local branch, but it is a legit number.

Ya, it is Card Services COLLECTION department that employ a ton
of poorly trained to possibly crooked telemarket employees who
do truly bizarre stuff and never act professionally.  I would not
exactly call them "legit".  If they were LEGIT, everything they
do would reflect professionalism right?  Of course!  But everyone
complains about this number and this caller so clearly, they
are not professional despite they are really in fact card services
making collection calls on behalf of many banks and financial
institutions.  My advice is just ignore them and never call the
numbers they give you.  They often make truly bizarre calls
most of them automated obviously using either outdated
info or using truly bizarre info which are also often incorrect.  
Like calling BoA customers when you are not a BoA customer
for example.  They are NOT Bank of America!  They are
contracted by them to collect on their behalf.  OK?

VERY PERSISTANT CREDITORS, if you will!  

I have received 5-10 calls a day from 814-234-7699.  They leave no voice mail!  SO DAMN IRRITATING!

Don't know who they are, or why they call.  Hang ups.

These unwanted callers just call and never leave a message.  Just annoying all day long.
