Got a call from this number. No message left. Anyone else?

I did too, but missed the call and no voice message.

Got a call from this number when I was on the phone, but they didn't leave a message, so I have no idea who it is.

Got a call on my cell phone from this number.  The woman calling asked for me personally by my 1st name.  No one ever calls me by my first name so I was suspicious.  I asked who was calling and she said DSS.  I simply hung up.  Then I did a search on the web and called back the number.  I found out they are a telemarket survey company out of Ft. Worth, TX.

Received a call from this #.  Caller ID showed it as DSS Research.  I didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message.

Answered call & the guy only half-way knew what he's talking about RE: something I'd enrolled in, but he kept claiming something erroneous (I had paperwork to the contrary right in-hand) so I ended the call.

Seemed like a fishing expedition on his part ...

Got a call from a woman with a very bad hispanic accent saying she was from a research company.  I told her I was not interested and to not call me again.  She started to talk over me and hung up.  Very rude person.

Also received a call from this number and left no message.

Unkown caller

A woman called from this # and said she was doing a survey, plus she asked for me by my legal first name (which I don't use).  I told her this is a Do Not Call phone and hung up!

This number has been calling my cell for 2 weeks..numerous times. I have not answered any of the calls ...found out who they were by doing a reverse cell phone look up. I renewed my do-not-call tonight and will file a complaint if they call again.

They have called my cell phone so far Tues, Wed, & Thursday of this week, have never left a message and I have not answered the call because I do not know who it is. I think this DSS Research as you say might be a skip trace company for people who have defaulted on Private Student Loans that are now in collection with US Funds or Nelnet.

They bug me all the time. They are collections to help out with student loans

got several calls from this number...everytime I tried to answer or call back, line goes dead...reading all this entry has got me thinking this is some kind of scam..or whatever...how do they get our phone numbers?

They called me today, I dumped the call. Sick of all these nonsense calls-I'm busy and don't need to be bothered day and night by these telemarketers, survey takers, etc!

Same here, I've gotten about 8 calls in the last two weeks and they never leave a voice mail. I have no loans and my credit is flawless so I can't see them being collections...don't know what it is and I don't care. I'll update my do not call list.

Just started getting these calls..I do not have defaulted student loans or any loans for that matter...so no clue
