This caller is DSS Research in Ft Worth. They called me with a looong questionnaire from my health insurance company about a product the company has recently started providing. It was a waste of my time. Sending questionnaire by mail or email would have been better.

Hi I work for Dss research we do not sale anything and we are hired as third parties by different insurance companies , home health agencies , and dialysis centers to conduct satisfaction surveys to identify any problems and how they can improve and provide better service.  As a telephone interviewer we do not personally dial you the computer does and we are required to read questions verbatim and get answers .. if you do not want to do a survey wait until the intro is done and say "please remove me from your list" then you will not be contacted other wise everytime and interviewer presses dial your probably gonna pop up on someone's screen .

Got a call and felt suspicious, as I didnt recognize the # I said hello and a woman, did not say any greeting but quickly tried to identify if I am the person there calling for. So I never acknowledge that I am the individual but instead played detective and asked her to tell me who, where and why is she calling? However, before answering my why are you calling question. She just said DSS Research and asked again for confirmation am I the person? So I simply hung up!

Recently in order to overcome these types of telephone calls I have concentrated my prayers in Vishnu. Vishnu I worship directly or in the form of his ten avatara, most famous of whom are Rama and Krishna. Among the ten principal Avatara described, nine have occurred in the past and one will take place in the future, at the end of Kali Yuga. These incarnations take place in all Yugas in cosmic scales, the avatars and their stories show that god is indeed unimaginable, unthinkable and unbelievable. The Bhagavad Gita mentions their purpose as being to rejuvenate Dharma and vanquish negative forces, the forces of evil that threaten Dharma, as also to display His divine nature in front of the conditioned/fallen souls.

They call once a night after 8pm. I'm in the same time zone as TX so I don't understand why they're calling anyone so late, they know exactly how late it is. This is also my work number so it's ridiculous. I've never used this number on any paperwork.

    The Annoyed! replies to ALICE
Alice I saw your post and wanted to reply.
Auto rejecting calls only works for the particular number that is block.  And even then those numbers still call and the call will ring through. I have experienced this very thing on my iPhone.  The annoyance is that said companies (picking on Aetna) continue using different phone numbers from either the same location (U.S.), or other states and cities (U.S.).  And these calls will come through sometimes two, three, or more times within the same hour or throughout the same day, week, month.  Additionally, the calls come from different phone numbers using the same Area Codes as well and are usually the same entity (picking on Aetna again).  The main point of this post is figuring out if someone has knowledge on how to stop the calls all together or get off of the list in which they (Aetna again) continue repeatedly calling?  I had an IT coworker say that unfortunately this is not likely due in part by some laws passed allowing Telemarketing more access to personal information.  He stated that apparently Obama's administration opened the laws for Telemarketers to acquire, and use (sell) our CELL numbers which is why so many people are getting effected by this.  Well hope this post contributes to others, but I'm still annoyed with the topic and the continued calls. (Do you hear me Aetna)!
