Called me four times before I finally answered. Said they were calling on behalf of the VW dealership I get my car serviced in Springfield, OH and that I needed to bring it in for a routine check up even though my car was serviced five months ago. Big telemarketing scam. My dealership will hear about this.

A call on behalf of the VW dealer I last used for service, reminding me that scheduled maintenance was due or would soon be due.  I didn't have my phone with me when they called so I missed it, but they left a message and I haven't gotten a second call as of yet.  (Knock on wood, the rest of you seem to get endless calls.)  At least now I know who it is so I can tell them I've moved to another area and will do my maintenance locally.

I just got a call/hangup from this number, and I'm in Indiana.  Why call me?

I received 2 calls from them last week. I do own a VW and it is due for service. Funny thing is I live in NJ and happened to be in Los Angeles when I got the calls. Maybe they're tracking me.  ;-)

Receiving calls daily.  They leave no messages.  Realized after viewing other complaints on "800notes.com" that these were mostly directed at VW owners (I'm one too).  I called my dealership and asked the service mgr if they in fact use "Peak Performance" and he stated that they do.  I told him I didn't want my phone # passed onto them.  He said he would call them and have my name/# removed.  I also called them myself (you get only their answering machine, no human) and left a message to remove my number from their list.

As a follow-up to my previous post, I just received another call from the number.  I picked up and heard a message stating they were calling on behalf of my VW dealership (naming them specifically) and it said if I no longer wanted to receive calls, to press "1".  Then, I had to enter and confirm my telephone #.  Hopefully this is the end.

I called the number back, they are a telemarketing agency calling about car warrenties. They are not collections, so if you see the number, don't be afraid to pick it up. You can tell them to take you off their call list.
If you didn't pick up but call them back, you get the option to request to be taken off their list

Call from a company following up on recent 15,000 mile service I had done at a Nissan dealership in NC.  They didn't leave a message the first time they called, but I picked up the second time.  Nothing shady here, just a car dealership service center followup company.

Called Saturday 1/9) at 5:19pm. Have a VW Jetta. I always check here for unfamiliar numbers. Got a call today from 626-207-9132 as "New Mags" at 12:44 pm. When I checked that number here, a couple people had received calls from both of these numbers. I finally have call block on my phone. I'm tired of this. I went through this before with this "service" calling multiple times a day and just ignored them until they stopped calling. I finally have call block on my phone.

I've received the call 4 times in the last two days, no voicemail left, and when I call back it's the lame voicemail msg that Peak has.

Had a GTI serviced in Riverside a year ago, I guess I can "Thank" VW of Riverside (California) for selling my contact information!!!!!

It is a customer service company that a lot of VW dealers use. If you take the call and press 1 right away, you can add your number to their do not call list.

I own a Dodge  Durango and my husband owns a Dodge Ram... no other cars in our family, and neither have been in for service in a long time. All of a sudden I started getting calls from this same number on my cell, and I have yet to answer. It makes no sense, I don't have anything in common with anything listed above.

I had my '03 Jetta serviced a few months back and the guy at the desk asked me for my e-mail address for a survey. He said the survey would call repeatedly, so if I gave him my e-mail they could just send it. Apparently, they never got my e-mail address. They called once a few days ago and once yesterday. When I answered yesterday, they hung up on me. Annoying..
