I have just had three messages coming through
1. 77g don't forget to claim your free bies
2. 77g. We notify you by SMS in 7 days if u won
3. 77g as a VIP user u can claim great offers
4 then contact 82344 to Stop or pay 4.50 a week ?

What do I do

I rang my mobile provider and they said text stop back following instructions and my provider will reimburse me with any incoming text messages from 82344

Have had an unsolicited text from 82344 that took £2.50 credit, sent stop and  contacted O2, Said it was from a company called UTV Radio , which i've never heard of and never subscribed too.

Its an automated service having 3 questions:
1. Enter your mobile number
2. Choose you service provider
3. Would you like to block all of advertising text, You need to choose option 1 for yes.

Unsolicited texts from 82344 - I have been receiving these for 2 months weekly at 2.50/time - I have now stopped them I hope, but how do I get a refunnd
number is 07899757515 - This is of course fradulent - I have not sighned up for this.

EASY SOLUTION TO THE SCAM
This is definitely a scam, it has affected thousands of people over the years and has made the scammers and their front men (the networks) millions!  If you contact your network they will just give you the run-around and tell you to contact the scammers.  The networks know this is a scam, but are happy to enable the scammers to keep going as they take a cut of the proceeds.  
If you get any unwanted premium rate texts, you should send an email or registered letter to the customer service department of your mobile network with the following text (replace O2 with your network's name):

" I have received a number of unsolicited premium rate texts from 82344.  I do not have an agreement, contract or relationship of any kind or form with this scam company, hence all texts sent to me were sent illegally as per 2003 E-Privacy Regulations.  The money taken from my account was also taken illegally as per the 1968 Theft Act.  Since my contract is with O2 and it is O2 that has knowingly or unknowingly been complicit in this theft I expect one the following from O2:

•    I expect O2 to refund the money illegally taken from my account and O2 to take this up with the scammers.
•    I expect O2 to provide me with a full and detailed audit trail proving that I subscribed for this service and that the money was taken legally.

Please advise me within 48 hours of receipt of this email, which of the two above actions O2 will be taking.  If I do not receive a satisfactory reply within 48 hours I will be making a formal complaint to Oftel, reporting the theft to the Police and initiating legal action.

It’s almost a certainty the network will not have any proof of a subscription, they may have details of texts sent or received, but unless they can provide the content of those texts then they can't prove that you subscribed. They will have to refund the money or get the scammers to refund the money (make sure you get a FULL refund).

I did all of the above with O2 and they finally stopped giving me the run-around and got me a refund.  Don't let them fool you into thinking you signed up by accident, or you weren't paying attention, this is nothing but a SCAM.  The scammers buy your number from mailing lists or simply auto generate it from known number ranges.

I am getting charges over £2.50 every month and i dont know who pr wht it is ?

I have been charge £2.50 five times in one month not sure what this is and not sure how to stop this any help appreciated. I have not signed up to anything.

this number started sending me txts that i havent signed up for i have been charged £33 i havetriedstopping it but cant

Scam and chargeable texts coming to my daughters phone. She has not subscribed to any services and we have been getting texts every week for about a year from IMIMOBILE EUROPE LIMITED. The number is showing up on the bill as 824344 and it is over £2 each time they send a message. I have emailed IMIMOBILE demanding a full refund. I have also done the same to vodaphone and said that i will not pay them a penny more until they do so otherwise they can stuff their contract. I have also cancelled my direct debit with them so i can check the bills in future and pay them what i owe and not pay for this scam text.

You need to text STOP in capitals I was told by Vodafone. They said they would not refund, but I have emailed this note to this email address for vodafone, will see what happens next

I have been in contact with my service provider ORANGE / EE today regarding the charges levelled on my account for the 82344 service. I have also dialled the number provided by my service provider and selected the option to be removed from your service as detailed above.

Following that I telephoned the number provided for your organisation and spoke with your member of staff who gave her name as Natalie and on request supplied the name of you Head of Customer Services although refused to give their CEO name.

I have NOT registered or entered a request for this service and it appears to me from the number of complaints of unauthorised billing on the internet that they are either deliberately using random telephone numbers or have obtained my number without authority.

It does not work to respond STOP to the unsolicited, this will be ignored completely. If you wish to contact via email use help@careformobile.com which will be acknowledged but watch this space to establish if it works!

Every Saturday at 9:15 I get 4 texts costing me £7.50 from 82344 or 88222.  I have not signed up for anything.  How do I stop them?

Did you receive any reply and refund from Vodafone? What did they do after you email?

I just called Vodaphone about this as I had a charge from November on my bill.  They said they'd refund me £3 but I should text STOP to the number.  I was just about to do this when I got a message saying "you will be charged for this text" well I don't want another charge so I didn't send it!
