Left a message: "We attempted to deliver a Fed-Ex package today, but had an issue involving location of your address. Please call us to confirm your address....". I deleted message, and will simply call the nearest Fed-Ex store to resolve any issues.

Message was left that FedEx ground had a package for me that the driver could not deliver and needed me to confirm my address by calling 833-372-5815 and left a unique Identifier of 603349. I have not had a fedex order. Called FedEx and they only work off of the Door tag number or tracking number on the package. The guy's voice was middle eastern.

I received this call suspiciously labelled as "United States" and they left a message that they were unable to deliver a package.   I called back, gave them the "unique identifier" they left on their message, and they pulled-up all my information and read it off to me - a package I was fully expecting - with some unique information on the label.  After they read everything back, I told them only that there was one small item wrong.  They had "Street" instead of "Drive", and where I live, that's huuuuuge.  All information they already had was otherwise complete and correct, I told them nothing other than correcting to "Drive".      It is entirely possible this number is being spoofed by others who indeed are scammers, but my particular experience was legit.

I just had a voicemail from (833)372-5815 from a woman with a middle-eastern accent. She said they needed to confirm my address because they had a problem delivery my package to me. Right. First thing I did was Google this number and it brought me here.  Thank you Google!

got a voicemail from this number on a Sunday saying they were unable to deliver my package because my address was incorrect. FedEx does not deliver on Sundays... they gave me a "reference identifier number" and asked me to call back at 833-372-5815. I called the FedEx customer service number 1-800-463-3339 to confirm that my delivery address was correct and to confirm the delivery date. My address was correct and the delivery date had not changed. Definitely a scam...

Legit? So did you get a package from Fedex? I got the call today. It seems like an awful lot of packages that are not being delivered, a lot. This number is on other websites that are questioning the odd phone call about a package they could not deliver. I am not expecting a package so it made me question it. Apparently, they are making sure they have your correct info. and have made contact with you. I read one caller claiming that when he asked why they were calling, the "fedex" rep (again foreign accent) became belligerent. That doesn't sound right. After reading those posts in other websites and these posts I blocked the ph#, which btw is not a Fedex CS number. Please be careful, folks.

Caller said he was from FedEx - left a voicemail message saying had a package for me, wanted to verify my address, gave me a reference number.  I googled the number and found all of these messages that it is a scam.  Glad I didn't answer, nor did I call back. I almost called bc I was expecting packages.  The packages I was waiting for were delivered shortly after the call....and Fed Ex wasn't the carrier.  So glad I didn't call back.

I received a call at 11:30 pm Friday night, same verifying my address, kept calling me by my first name.  Indian or Asian accent.  I asked who the package was from and it was from a valid address that I had ordered from.  I did verify my first name and address.  What can they do with that information that they already had?  I didn't give them any new information, just verified what they said.  Sorry I answered the call, but it startled me at that time of night.  Caller ID was just Too Free Number.

They called my dad and he gave them my address.  He said he couldn’t even remember if they had my name but he just freely gave them my address.   Does anyone know what they do with this information?

Well, if it was actually FedEX, which I doubt they would deliver the package.  I don't know why they would not be calling you unless you used your dad's phone number when you made the online order.  Other then that who knows what they could do with your name and address?

You can go to the actual FedEX website and sign up for package notification.  I did and it works pretty well.  Their delivery times are pretty accurate also unlike UPS.  They will text you when they received the package and give you an estimated delivery date.  Then they will text you the delivery date and estimated time.  It isn't always accurate though.  Weekend deliveries seem to be forgotten by their text system.

I had been getting text massages previously that my packages from 3 months ago were not delivered and to contact them. I kindly replied, if I haven't rcvd by now to forget about it. Today a call from a female that the delivery service couldn't locate my home. She left a call back # 833-372-5815, a unique ref code & hours of 10-10 pm.
I am expecting packages; however am very sure my address is accurate.
I believe that, somehow the delivery service's site may have been hacked/compromised & info is out there in the dark web.
If what I'm expecting isn't delivered soon, they may retry.
Never heard of such & won't fall victim to their attempts.
