I just received a call from this number and they left a message. My cell phone said the number was verified and from FedEx. I called back they said there's a problem with my address. They gave me an address to verify. They did not ask what my address was. I asked who the package is from. I said I was not expecting a package. They said thanks for calling would do this will do that will double-check the address and thanks for calling back to let them know. At 8:30 p.m. at night. Maybe I should not have answered the call. Going to be careful in the future.

Yup - middle eastern male appearing to be reading from a script. Left a voice mail. Call sounded very convincing and he referenced a case ID number 7687517 but when I put it into Fed Ex tracking website, nothing comes up. Not calling it. (5-18-22)

That isn't anywhere near enough digits to be a FedEx tracking number.

Caller said that they had a 6lb package from FedEx but they could not deliver because the address was incorrect.  They made it seem like it was someone sending flowers.  When I look up the info on fedex tracking I can see tracking and that the order is held up.  Is this for real?  Or should I not give them my address.  I did not give it to them and told them I would call fedex tomorrow.

If there was a problem with the address they would have contacted the sender.  6 pounds seems like a lot for flowers which would be perishable and I simply cannot see anyone sending them via FedEx.

A weird almost electronic female voice left wanting 'correct delivery address' for a package. On straining my voice, I sensed it would be a Filipino national. Had only my phone number and first name. An 8 digit 'reference number'. The number answers as Fedex Ground! On Fedex Website there is no such thing. Beware, frightful scam. iPhone ID'd as ''unknown caller--Spam Potential'.

Call claiming to be FedEx with an undeliverable package for a family member who has not lived here for 8 years.  Slow/sleepy sounding voice, which suggested he wasn't rattling off a script that he read 1000x a day.  Reality: FedEx would pay for individual calls, but would use email.

Received a voicemail with no information other than they needed delivery instructions - called back and reached an automated response that I have reached them outside of business hours 7am to 10pm - I called at 8am - I called fedex customer service (1-800gofedex) and I gave them a tracking number for a package I am expecting, and they have no record of a call, but also said they cannot help me without a tracking number in reference to the call - likely a scam - if they call back then I will confirm who they are and ask for the tracking number and submit it through the website for verification and update the information on the website

This is NOT a legit FedEx number or caller. You are either an idiot or a shill. I am guessing shill, and your post has been reported for removal.

FedEx does not work from "Call Centers", only from the 800 number they have used for years. 1-800-463-3339 in the US.

Definitely a scam called my home phone claiming to be FedEx Ground, ask questions to which I would not respond yes hung up on me.
