Yep, woman with a heavy accent, sounded like a TV playing in the background too.  Wanted to fix my computer b/c they have been getting errors reported.  Um, no.

I told her I was born during the day, but it wasn't yesterday.  She asked me to repeat what I said a few times before hanging up.

Tom called.  Did not understand the first word he said except that he wanted me to go in front of my computer so he could fix it.  I hung up.  He called back and said that I had 1004 error messages and he wanted to fix them.  Would not take no for an answer.  Hanging up on these people just makes them call back again.  IDIOTS!!!

I get a call from this number usually every day at 0830, if I answer, no response to my hello. Then it calls back a few more times during the morning about an hour apart, I don't answer, no messages left.
Today someone was there, He said hello, he is from my computer support team. I said, You have called my phone multiple times. He said, What, I have already called you. Then he hung up.
Heavy accent, probably southwest Asia.
When I dial the number that shows up on my phone, the message comes on that it has been disconnected. Even though they are calling from this phone number. 2-3 times a day.

I got the call this morning.  He had a heavy accent that made it hard to understand.  He kept asking me to "go to my computer because there is a problem". This sounded fishy right away, so I asked him who he was working for, "US Airways" he claimed! This seemed even more odd to me.  I asked him for his number to call back and another voice in the background said "disconnect" clear as day, like there were really three people on the line? He got pushy and told me that "we need to do it now, you cannot call back!".  I pressed him for his number to call him back and he hung up. Beware of this caller. They operate under a spoof number, and they don't think they can be caught.

Got a call from 850-785-9004 today.  Staged very well - sounded like a for sure TECH call.
Gave me some name and that there is a problem with my computer.  The background noise is used
as a distraction to A) make is sound legit and B) to cover the crap they are saying.  I kept pressing - they hung up.

#1 - Don't call someone in the Computer Support industry and try to BS this crap.  It won't fly.

#2- Don't call someone who has 40+ years in Regional and Community theatre

A man with an Indian accent told me that my computer was sending them error messages, claimed he was from windows. I played along but never put in anything in my run box, like he asked me to, I don't mess with the registry and stuff, I don't know what I'm doing so I didn't follow along. I told him that it crashed my computer after I "put in the website" and the line went dead, don't fall for this scam.
