MicroTech person with India accent called Friday, May 27, 2016. Said his name was Dennis. Told my husband his computer had over 7,000 files compromised. Wanted the license number of the computer and gave my husband a sign in code of 00C04FD7D062 to put into his computer...then he gave him a website to type into the computer so he could take remote access. Of course, my husband didn't do this. He ended up hanging up. We tried to call the number 1-855-210-3300 and it wouldn't connect or even ring on the other end. SCAM SCAM SCAM

I believe this number is running a scam. They keep telling me I have a problem with my computer. I have Norton installed and a service contract with another firm. They told me to ignore the calls they just want my no.

Have the same problem don't give them any of your information. You are right this is a SCAM

This caller has harassed me 6 times in the last couple of days.

Indian man called and said someone stole our password. Tried to access our computer. Tried to sell us stuff. Knew way too much about us! Scary and repeated caller. Please investigate him!!!

These idiots just never give up.  Play along, keep them on the line.  Maybe save someone else from getting scammed.

Called our home number and asked for my dad. They had a heavy middle Eastern accent. Told me someone has been using his name for illegal computer activity. Told him to stop calling and remove my number. He said he had proof and just wanted to talk to my dad "again" about it. Ok well he passed away years ago so I got really upset and hung up.

Scammers who have called other times claiming to be with Microsoft Technical Support. Their claim is that our computer was sending them a notification where at the time of the call our computers did not have an Internet connection available. Other online reports claim to be scammed by them as well.
I asked for the liars name and he said Peter, which is likely also a lye since that is not usually an Indian name with the accent he had.

slight twist on the Windows support scam, but they drop names like your phone service provider, family names they found on the internet, and threaten you when you ask questions.

During the past 2 weeks, I have received 6 calls from this number claiming to be from "Tech Support".  When I asked the idiot what company this tech support is, he replied 'no company, just tech support'.  What they want is access to YOUR computer to 'fix' the virus that has infected your computer - RIGHT!!!  This is very dangerous to someone who does not know how a computer works.  Why can't we stop this madness?????

Just received a call from this number - told me someone was using our secure server.

Phishing for IP and passwords plus remote access. Will place bogus Trojans on your download history. Cannot speak normal English either. No supervisor to contact. Block this number.

I received the same call from these scammers.   I hung up.

Have had an average of two calls a day from this number for the last week.  Told them flat out I am not falling for their scam and to quit calling me.

I have received a call from this number tonight not once but 3 times so far and it just 7.  I called the number back about 10 times hoping to aggravate the piss out of them but it would only ring once and then go dead.  I am sick of this I want to chew someone out! I have the phone beside me just waiting, I just wish they would say something!!!

I do not know who is calling me. He even mentioned my first name. Someone has called me from this phone number at least twice in the past week. I think it is a computer company wanting to tell me something   is wrong with my computer. I have my name on. the no caller list, but still receive these calls.

Continues to call regarding viruses in my computer.  Says Microsoft notified them and they can fix it.  Told them to take my number off their list: that I wasn't going to fall for this scam.  I hung up.

Have received many phone calls recently from 855-210-3300 from a guy calling himself Andrew. Says he is from ITech. He says he is calling about my windows programs.  He says I have a virus and he needs me to let him log onto my computer so  he can "fix" it.  I asked if he works for Microsoft?  He had way too much information including my IP address and physical address.   Be sure to ask them what "your" IP address is. They knew the IP address to my router.

Some moron claiming he was from Verizon and that my internet line had problems. Hahahahaha. I use Time Warner, nice try.
