Called my parents home, left a very threating voicemail from a Mr. McDonald at 855-334-4198 extension1236273. He did not leave a company name.   What was strange was he asked for daughter but... using daughters maiden name.  Daughter has been married for 23 years and goes by her married name for 23 years.  This is a SCAM call - Mr. McDonald is scarring people and demanding a call back or else.......

I got a voicemail while I was at work, so I listened to it when I got home. The lady said something about an "urgent matter" and she suggested I call back with the name of a lawyer. It sounded somewhat legitimate, but I decided to Google the number she gave me instead of calling it right away. I saw one answer on a forum that said something about Comenity bank; however, I happen to know that Comenity has a different number entirely.

What tipped me off to the illegitimacy of this number is the person's vagueness. All in all, I'm still unsure as to what this company is, but something tells me they are not legitimate.

Its not a scam. I work for Comenity Bank as a collector and this is the number we leave to reach the collection department.

Called for my mother, who does not live with me. Said to call back immediately or if not solved may lead to a "direct impact". Said her name was Sierra, no mention of company name.

I got this message as well. It was a women. She left a voicemail. She better not call me again.

Caller, Golden Banks, said matter had reached cosmic levels of urgency and to Contact that number. F him

Called asking for another member of family that doesn't live with me and threatened them.

I received a call today, for my mother, who passed away 6 months ago! There was a woman, Ms Malor, saying my mother needed to call her back, asap, as the call was regarding a account that was in a "critical status" and there was limited time to resolve.  She gave her ext.1266262, and state she was there until 6pm. I was in shock that I would be getting this type of call, let alone for my mother, who passed. Was tempted to call back and explain (and complain!), but I am very thankful for this site, it cancelled that thought!

got a call from this number 2 days in a row, from 2 different women, @ exts 1226500 and 1265267.  saying it is Comenity Bank, which I have never even heard of, and very important, time sensitive, and an escalated matter,  but no other info. asking for someone with my same first name but a different last name, but still no one I've ever heard of. I am not going to call them back!

Calls at least twice a month asking for some unknown person.  Blocked number they first used now today they called with “no caller id”.  Always leave threatening message.  Sure wish someone could figure out a way to stop this.

A Ms Harper called asking for my husband saying he had a terrible debt and he had to resolve it before extra measures were taken. I just blocked her number and told her I’d call the police the next time she spoke to me

Specialist Jensen left a message for someone who does not even live here and said it was an important matter.  Gave extension 1226223.  Will not call back.

Call from "specialist Kruger" about an "escalated situation under full review" and needing "immediate response" in voicemail but not for me.  Did not use my name.  What kind of scam is this???

From what others have stated, it sounds like the "we have an arrest \warrant for you" scam - which is an illegal scare tacti.  The 855 area code is loaded with callers like this.  BLOCK them,.

I've received two calls on my cell phone which went to voice mail, one from a man calling himself Mr. Grandville and asking for Michael Rite, he doesn't give the name of the company, but insists it is an "urgent matter"

The other is a woman giving the name Ms.Prior and the same call back number of 855-334-4198 ex 1266201 She said she was from Cumidity Bank
She asked for Michael Hart, saying it's a time sensitive matter and would have a direct impact on this person if I didn't call back.
I've never called them back and I am reporting it. These people call sounding very aggressive or somewhat professional. What they are doing is called a "phishing" call. They are literally fishing for information and some of these calls can record your voice and use it to open accounts!! Criminals are using good people to scare them into saying just about anything. They never have your correct name. Never talk to them! Hang up! Don't call them back! If it was a legit situation you would get noticed in snail mail. You would already know about it. Don't let these criminals get the information they want or the sound of your voice!!

It's a scam! It's called a phishing call, they can even record your voice and responses to use in opening accounts.

They aren't! You're smart! Don't call them back or just hang up.

It's a scam all the way, a phishing call, do not talk to them!

Called multiples times from unavailable number leaving threatening messages about a very serious matter that will affect me and that I would need a lawyer. They left a message as they usually call when I am at work.
