They called, but since I do not answer the phone if I do not recognize the name or number, it went to my voicemail. As soon as my VM message ends for them to leave their message, they hang up. I wish they would leave a message so I know if I need to call them back.

I cancelled my NRA membership last year due the ignorant stance on the second amendment. The are a mouthpiece for  gun manufacturers, they have lost their credibility.

I called the and found that it was a Ben Carson campaign office. I asked to be removed and they were very nice about it. They are probably using lists of people that may be favorable to their cause, so it's not random. My guess is that this number may be used by different groups after a given campaign has ended.

Just got a call from this number, AGAIN, and I finally called it back...it does belong to the Ben Carson for President Committee looking for donations.  All you have to do is press "3" for your number to be removed from their list, then enter your phone number with area code, then press "1" to confirm.  Hopefully this will STOP this from occurring again.
And to that I say, "TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT - 2016" - "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!"

Received a call from 855-402-0737 on 09/15/2015 at 3:39 PM, the CNAM read as "Toll Free Calle." We (anonymously) re-dialed the number and heard the following message: "Thank you for calling the Ben Carson Committee, Carson America. If you’d like to make a donation or would like more information, please press 1 now. To contact our headquarters, please press 2 now. If you’d like to be added to our do not call list, please press 3 now."

It isn't National Recovery.....it's political.

Caller ID says anonymous.   called 4 times in 3day.  I pick up and don't say anything and there is blank air. Then phone goes to busy signal.  I wish they'd answer so I could give them a piece of my mind.  no message=scammer.  let them prove they're not

It's a debt collector spoofing numbers. Who else calls this many times a day? They like to play dirty.

I think every phone bank should be automatically billed a minimum of 30 cents for every person called.  25 cents would be deducted from the receiving parties phone bill and the other 5 cents would go to the phone company as incentive to clamp down on these jerks.  The callers would be more selective in whom they call, or it would get so expensive for these jerks that they would be forced out of business... which would be no great loss.

Also, if a company tried to get around this, and the phone companies computers detected a huge number of calls from a specific number to many others, they would automatically be deemed a phone bank under the law and treated as such.

LET'S GET A LAW PASSED.  IT'S AN ELECTION YEAR, maybe the politicians will get off their butts and do something for US in their attempt to get re-elected.

I don't belong to the NRA, and I don't own any guns and they called me... the only reason I know is the caller ID told me.  I have that number blocked in my call blocker so it did not even ring.  :)
