The survey is just foreplay for the money touch.  They want a donation.I'm a member but I give them money only when I decide- telemendication is a curse.

In fact, ALL calls are exempt. Reporting to the bogus do-not-call registry even when it's a clear violation by a telemarketer are soundly ignored. You get a thank you response followed by " maybe, someday we might do something."  The telemarketers know is a scam and just ignore it.

Many are telebegging or money solicitation scams -sometimes with the phones manned by prisoners under contract with a telephone harassment concern.  They actually do turn a profit because every once in a great while, they locate somebody stupid or crazy enough to give them money and their credit card number.

This number used to belong to the National Recovery Agency debt collectors.  But it has been repurposed to the Ben Carson presidential campaign.  They still call 2-3 times a day, so it's not an improvement.

Nonsense. Political robocalls and ATDS calls to cellphones are illegal and you can sue and get $500/call for them under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). (Not political robocalls and ATDS calls to landlines, alas.) The FCC, which regulates the TCPA, says these calls are illegal. (Google "FCC DA-14-1505A1.pdf" to see their last advisory about it.) Port your landline over to an AT&T Home Phone Connect or Verizon Home Connect for $20 per month and then you can sue them in small-claims court and make at least $500/call!

I called this number back to see who would pick up and it was a recording for Dr. Ben Carson's Presidential Committee -_-

These Freaking Morons never give up!  I keep seeing that they've called when I review my caller ID log, but I never hear the phone ring anymore since this number has been blocked.  Eff, em!

Well before you can sue them you have to find them.  And prove they called you, on their own, without any solicitation or previous contact from you.  And you have to prove they called you with malicious intent. And you need to prove they called you as many times as you say they did.  Oh and you'll have to convince a judge of all this.  Not sure which is harder: finding the crooks to begin with (remember, they change numbers constantly!) or proving they did what you say they did.  Whatever, you'll end up paying a lot more than $500 per call -- and that's without involving lawyers.  Block the number & Fugetaboutit, it's much easier & less stressful.

The NRA protects gun lobbyists and gun manufacturers and are against anything that would hurt gun sales or hamper their influence in Washington. They don't give a whit about keeping Americans safe. No one is trying to repeal the 2nd amendment, but they continue to gin up public backlash against this non-existent "threat to the 2nd Amendment". The real threat is a pro-gun lobby that resists even the most common-sense attempts to address the issue of gun violence. A recent non-partisan survey showed that more than 90% of Americans support more comprehensive background checks prior to gun purchase. The other 10%, like Dadzuka, are idiots and useful tools of the NRA.

Call each morning about 9.  It is the Natl Recovery Agency, NOT National Rifle Assoc. How or why they would call us I don't know....have no debts, and haven't for 25 years.

Multiple calls every day....fortunately I have it blocked...glad to know who it is.

they called about noon, central time on a monday.and hung up , and left no message...............probabably another =[***],,e r on the no call lists, bu that dont stop this morons anymore................
