Called on a Sunday, as usual we didn't answer. Never leaves a message. Read other complaints some said NRA meaning National Rifle Ass. Or National Recovery Ass.

Seattle and practically all of Washington State are leftists, liberals and democrats. Pay no attention to them.

We've gotten calls from this number and several others that when I do a Google search, I get the same list of complaints.  National Recovery Agency or whatever.  Twice I tried answering because I was tired of the constant calls.  No names show, just the number.  We have caller I.D. and I can screen the calls, but really should be a law about nuisance calls.  I answered yesterday and they asked for my husband by name.  I said he was in the shower.  And I quickly asked if there was a message -- it was a man's voice.  Quick, brusque, and said No message. I'll call back.  This morning as we were bringing in groceries from the car it rang and I answered -- ready to give someone a blast.  Same voice asked for my husband, I said he's not here, is there a message.  Same reply and I said YOU CALLED HERE BEFORE.  But before I could say anything further, he'd hung up.  I won't answer again.  Only did because my patience is wearing thin.  Our phone service doesn't provide for blocking numbers.

I just received the call from the number, they said they were the national rifle association.  After I spoke with them I called the NRA and they verified that it is a number they call from

The No Call List is a joke. Doesn't stop them from calling all day long. Block the number if you possibly can. My home phone service allows blocking a small number of callers and my iPhone will block them as well. Google how to block numbers with your particular phone provider. Easy peasy.

How do these people get unlisted numbers and what kind of SCAM are they trying to pull ? ? ? Why didn't they leave a message on my answering machine  ? ? ?  Are they selling something ?? are they looking for a donation,, that will NEVER Happen...

Seems this particular NRA is trying to make people believe they are something they are not.  I have received numerous calls - daily - sometimes 2 or 3 times - these people NEVER leave a message.  I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize nor return calls when no message is left.  The calls come from different phone numbers, including the one listed here, but all of them show up as NRA in my caller ID.  I have blocked several of them, but it appears to be a losing cause.  I do not believe the legitimate National Rifle Association would harass people to that extreme.  I am not a member.  If these calls are coming from the agency that people here are complaining about - National Recovery Associates, I do not know because as I said, I do not answer and no message is ever left.  In any case, I make it a habit of  regularly checking my credit score (which is excellent with no black marks) because there are so many horrible people out there trying to take advantage of others; and I do not put it past them to represent themselves as something or someone they are not.  I, too, believe this to be a scam.

All of you are wrong...press 2 for English.  'Thank you for calling Allied Financial'.  It is a collection agency that used to be National Recovery Associates.  I just called the number because they are calling my child on their cell phone several times a day and asked them to remove him since he is only 13.
