Six minutes later someone else called from 847-783-8966 asking for Nora.

I dediced to not join after all it just too much for I rather do something I feel happy for me.

I dont know why they are calling my cell like im only 12!!! im so confused...

I emailed them and they removed my phone #s immediatly. They represent about 25 Schools nationwide.

Sorry for the spelling error in my prious reply. Maybe I need to return to school.

Ok, I enrolled in a school. Now I have this number plus 12 more calling me 6 times a day. I have answered once, said no thank I am enrolled and they still calling! Now what do I do?

Please stop calling me

Me too they are calling my cell and job. I don't EVEN know HOW they got my work number. It's really annoying!

Please help make then stop this is ridiculous I am already enrolled for a Masters in the UK.

I know how it started, I signed up for Scholarship Points and search for a scholarship...bad idea.

I worked for Ashford. You have to use specific verbage to be removed from the list. Say "Do not call me anymore, take me off your list". We are required to remove you if you say this.

And they are rude! All I get is music every day. Which school is it? I did the same thing, and they have been hounding ever since!
Thanks.

I called the number back and it was from Ashford Univ. - I didn't answer it.

this number call to many time

I am going to contact the Governor of the State of Tennesee and other people who can govern these calls.  I have consistently informed them that nobody in this house is interested in their lying University!!  I have told them repeatedly to stop calling - it is now called HARASSMENT AND I INTEND TO PURSUE THIS MATTER WITH THESE LYING PARASITES who are harassing us to death about attending their schools and ripping the people off!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I will contact FOX NEWS and anyone - I did it before with the Phoenix University - they have been under numerous investigations for ripping people off and harassment.  I'm sick of it and I will stop it!!!

I am now getting calls 3x a day from different schools and universities , all different. I believe this is some type of telemarketing company that solicits on behalf of different low credited schools to entice unsuspecting students. Most legitimate schools would not harass potential students this way... beware, no matter what post you read in here otherwise because many people commenting here are doing so on behalf of those shady schools..LET THE BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I had a friend stop the harrasing calls, by Answering the Phone, as Colorado State Attorney Generals Office Consumer complaint division , how may I help you.? On my phone i have the capability to xfer the call to the Attorney  Generals office/../Kinda neat.

i got a call immediately after talking to someone else pertaining to a certain profession. The number showed up as unidentifiable/no name. Because I did not recognize it was Ashford University, I did not answer right away and no voicej3b9 mail message was left, so I assumed the number was bogus.

That is a neat idea and I will copy that thanks to you. I also believe that a legitimate school or university would not perform such tasks of actually calling someone to fish for students to attend their school.
