I never got one of these messages until I switched to Cricket. I bet they are doing this to get me to upgrade!    Verizon pulled similar crap trying to get you to upgrade.  Unscrupulous business practices if not illegal.

This number tried to send a pic to my email account on Monday, April 2 2012 at 7:28pm.  Luckily it was rejected by my email.  Has anyone found out any info on this number?

Should have read posts earlier.  I have a Cricket phone also.  I get picture messages just fine from my contacts.  This has to be a business phone number.

I have gotten at least 15 messages in a row in less than 5 minutes from this number. I'm getting a new phone with a different carrier.

I just got 2 calls from this number saying the same thing. I'm in Oregon.

someone like the fcc needs to shut this number down!  whatever you do dont respond!

stop texting me multimedia messages it's annoying

Second time this number has texted. Good think I "can't receive" their texts because my equipment isn't adequate. I'll stick with the inadequate equipment if it means a stinking spammer can't reach me!

It started 1 time a day. Now I get 15 a day just started a week ago.

It's Cricket. I told them to stop or I will sue!!! Jerks!!

Nobody is sending pic messages!!! It's Crickets way of fooling people into paying $5.00 more a month for pic messaging, when I don't want pic messaging!! Stupid promotional tactic!!

stop sending me multimedia message i can't receive them.

I get these on my cricket phone as well. I think that they come from cricket and are suppose to make you want to upgrade your phone. Makes me want to upgrade to a better service provider more like it.

Hello all.  I have had cricket for years.   The way I see it is, someone, could be my kids, send me and others pics as a group, even though they know my phone won't accept pics via text.  When anyone sends me a pic, cricket's automated system tells me there are multimedia messages that I can't receive.   It is a pain in the butt.  And am sure that they would like us to upgrade.  I wonder if we can put this on the no call cell phone list?  Good luck

I get text messages about multimedia but my phone does not support them,  I text back 'STOP' since whomever is sending them is ignorant.  I thought they were from a relative but apparently NOT.

Cricket wants a person to upgrade to the $45 dollar plan that has the app for pic. mess and things of the sort.
I was on the dollar a day plan for a minute then went back to the monthly plan, i did not even realize that i did have call waiting any more- i was like-" calls going straight to voicemail???". I called to see what was up with that, and they tell me for an additional $5 a month i can get call waiting put on- Wow! really Mr. Cricket??
I guess he wins this time, cause its more expensive for me to miss calls. Put some wings on that 5...Lol.

Be careful, my friend is having ACH charges taken from his bank account from this #. The name on the debit is PPL8MKTNG  ID# 000000033286304   Possible you have charges on your phone bills. Keep a look out.
