Thank you for these messages.  I TOO had multiple calls daily from this number (for several months) and was beside myself.  I've added my number to their "do not call list" and hopefully this will put an end to this problem.

They clearly don't communicate with each other - I answered 2 calls from them in one day, and both times told them NO, I didn't want to renew. That was about a month ago and they just started calling me again. I tried the 888 number people have listed above, so we'll see if that worked. if I'd been considering subscribing before, I'm definitely not now. Don't they realize annoying the hell out of people is not good salesmanship??

<QUOTE>866-301-7344 called me every single day (sometimes more than once a day) as soon as the free six months of Sirius satellite radio that I got with my new car ran out.  I tried that other 800 number that supposedly takes you off of their call list, and that worked initially, but the calls started again a week later.  What finally stopped them once and for all was when I contacted Verizon and had their number blocked from calling me.  If you have Verizion Wireless, they allow you to block up to 5 numbers for free.  I am sure many other phone companies offer similar features.  Definitely the way to go, they cannot call and harass you any more if they are blocked by the phone company from doing so.
    </QUOTE>

I'm sorry but this person is lying... there is NO way to have a wireless provider block phone numbers from calling you.  See below:

    http://support.vzw.com/faqs/Equipment/faq_phones.html#item14

But yeah anyway, this number called me also and it really upsets me because I told them a few weeks ago that I had already gotten a new Sirius radio unit (they're calling me about the free year of service I got with my truck which is now expired).

    Why so, Sirius?
Repeated calls to my work cell. While I once was a Sirius customer, they never got this number from me. I hit the button to dial back. Since I am unwilling to take down and dial a different number, I pressed 2 for customer service. Eventually some guy took my info and promised that the company doing the calling would not call me again. I don't know if this will take care of the situation, but I've saved the number and will label it Do Not Answer with no ring or vibration in my phone.

Just thought of this: they identified themselves as "Sirius" not "Sirius XM" which is what they are now. I now have suspicions...

888-440-6342 was the opt out number Sirius gave me. Of course they did not have my phone numbe in their database and then proceeded to ask lots of personal questions. I simply said over and over that rhey did not need my personal info. They called me on my cell and they need to stop. All the info they need to know is my cell and that if they don't stop I'll file a complaint with the FTC. Thy finally said ok and that the do not call would take effect immediately. I guess time will tell

Thanks Bob for the information about Verizon, I was able to add them to my cell phone blocked list online. I bought a new radio that advertised Sirius/XM thinking I could use my existing Sirius account but it is an XM radio so I had to drop Sirius for XM. Sirius did refund me what money was left over from the subscription but I did talk to a rep when they called and answered their survey however they still keep calling.

Called the 800# to opt out, two minutes after they called me.  The automated prompt said they did not recognize my number or have it on file, put me on hold and magically transferred me to a "customer service rep".  After they made yet another sales pitch (they must REALLY be hurting for business) they finally "took me off the list" I was supposedly not on in the first place.  I am not real confident they will stop calling me at 9pm, but we will see!!

this number has been calling for the last month...i had the service with a new car...it lapsed right in the middle  of a song........they have been calling me since 2 sometimes 3 times a day....since they have "unknown name", i don't answer, and they don't leave a message....until today ,reaching this web site, i didn't know the id of the number....thanks to the web people, and thanks to the ones posting the do not contact number....now we will see if that number works....what a bother...i wouldn't sign up now.....also the service is too expensive inasmuch i only listen to about 4 channels...

I keep getting the calls, doesn't matter what you tell them they will call back. I decided to assign them a silent ringer so I don't get bothered after I've gone to bed again.

    Annoyed
If this is Sirius Satellite Radio, they have called me dozens of times and have never left a message! I cancelled my service because I no longer have the car that came with the factory-installed Sirius radio, not because I was unhappy with the service. The woman I spoke with when I cancelled knows this, so why hasn't she noted my account? I also have no desire to buy a satellite radio to go in my new car, and I don't listen to internet radio often enough to pay for that either. I just got a letter in the mail last night from Sirius, telling me to "renew now to continue my service". How much clearer can I be???

I have been on the national do call list for the past four years.

I have added my name to Sirius' do not call list several times using the 888-440-6342 number, and today requested from a rep and a supervisor that my name be removed from their list. They both said it would take a "few weeks" when the FCC requires that they take your name off within 30 days (from my understanding). The supervisor (Anthony Williamson?) said that "a few weeks equaled 30 days." Are you kidding me?

I then told him that I was filing a complaint with the FCC.

    I did so here:
    http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

It takes less than three minutes and I suggest you do it too. The complaint form asks if you have purchased anything with the company in the past 18 months. The last interaction I had with them was to cancel my account two months ago. Therefore, I assume my "established business relation" (EBR) with them was severed.

After this, I will NEVER do business with Sirius again. I can't imagine that the financial gains made by Sirius from these calls outweigh the costs in losing potential future customers and damage to their brand.

It seems like several people on here would use Sirius again after their financial situation improves, but these calls are putting a serious damper on that.

    Annoyed by their calling
They call 3 or 4 times a day and no matter what time of day early morning even late at night.  They are very annoying and never leave messages.  I sure wish they would stop!
