I received a call today from this number giving me an on line I’d code.

Messaged Chase directly and they say that you should not respond to that number. If you did give them info you may need to call Chase immediately at their real number listed on your card.

they have been continuously calling. finally picked it up as i thought it may be my insurance company. it was about Chase and to call it and input some code. SCAM!!!!!

i posted a wrong message. i checked with my husband and this is a REAL LEGIT number. if someone is trying to access an account from a computer that isn't recognized (in this case it was in our home) they call back with a special code. SO EVERYONE THIS IS NOT A SCAM. for today anyway. lol.

Still going on, I had 2 on my business phone this morning. Did bother calling

From supposedly Chase bank I received this TXT msg:" if you did not request this code call us immediately.... " and they send a code

Yes I was put on hold for at least 15 minutes was told by robotic, however, I hung up after 3 minutes

Well it looks like this scam is still going on in 2020. I just got the same call giving me an online access code. Since it was before 8am and everyone was still in bed, I had a feeling this was a scam. I dialed the number they left to call back and It sounds just like the Chase automated service number.  I hung up and called the Chase customer service number that I know. The rep on the phone said that the number they left to call back if you didn't request a code (1-866-355-3744) is not associated with Chase and that this is a phishing SCAM.

These scammers have stepped up their game. When I called the number to report that I never asked for a verification, the phone played recording messages about COVID-19 and the IRS relief checks. Then listed a whole range of services to contact. Everything sounded legit and was probably copied from Chase.  I couldn't get in touch with a customer representative because all the options required entering my confidential customer information.

Pretending to be Chase. Unsolicited call with code for login which gives this number to call in the event you weren't expecting the code. When you call, you do reach Chase, but not via a Chase phone number. - Most likely 3rd party skimming where they record the touch-tones and audio of sensitive information. Chase confirmed this is not their number and they didn't send me a code. Any phone number can be displayed on Caller ID and what is displayed shows a Chase business line. Overall, don't provide any information via this phone number to whoever answers, Chase or not.
