This sounds like a hoax company- they called my sister while I never received anything in mail or even a phone call! I told her not to ever pick up their call again. if they want they can call me

I have received messages from ACSI in Nashville, TN. The gentleman identifies himself as Phil Dyer. He claims that I have an outstanding debt from student loans. These debts have been resolved with U.S. Department of Education. I have sent documentation stating this (probably a mistake) and have been ignored and I still receive Consolidation Loan Application and Promissory Note forms from ACSI. I do not wish anymore calls concerning this matter.

I Think some of the Customer Service Representatives for ACSI  approach is unprofessional in order to put fear in the debtor to pay what they owe, but I believe this company is legit. By all means do your homework and check out everything for your self because I am....Im doing my research now as I embedd my comment into this message box..

Guys, this is a debt collection agency for student loans. If you receive a call from them and they have the right party is because you have a student loan that is in federal default.
As of july 1,2014 the Government changed the law allowing debtors to make payments based on your income and family size, payments as low at $5. if you give these  collectors an opportunity to give you your options and stop  hanging up that maybe you will understand why they are calling.

Don't get me wrong if you are telling them to not call your job and that same collector does it again then they are breaking the law, if they are just calling to give you options, then please allow them, remember the law is in your side now to pay this thing and get it out of default which will protect your wages, taxes, credit, etc.
