- Govt WorkerSo you think the do not call list is safe in government hands do you? Did you know that the list isn't as safe as you think, some of the employees have been selling info off those lists? Better think again. On top of that, do you know that the databases are constantly hacked on a weekly basis because the data is stored on insecure servers. My advice is never ever have your data put on databases, as it just centralizes the location where its open to anyone at anytime.

Woman is SOOOO nice and friendly!
I called her and explained that I got a call and did not understand one word these people were saying and she said well you can give me your number and i will place you on our do not call list. Then I said that I do not know if they charged me with anything because they talked faster than I do. She said she would pull it up and she said that she did see something up there, and she will cancel it out right away. Much more friendly than the tele-marketers
And being 20 and a college student... I do NOT need these BS phone calls.
I think mine was from buying smooth away.
Have a good one everyone!!!- Caller: Quality resources
- paquitacalls from this number began showing up on my cell phone missed calls. i found info online about this outfit, and decided to call and get my name off the list. i hide my calling number yet as soon as they answered they called me by name. my cell number is private, so i am at a loss how they got it but what puzzles me more is the fact they have part of my credit card number. i called the bbb and was advised that this was a situation to be handled by federal trade commision. they handle the telemarketing calls and also identity theft. so if they do charge my account, or yours please call and report them to this toll free number 1-877-4357

- MhI saw a couple comments about the Iron Gym, and I recently purchased one as well. I would indeed bet that that's the source.... either by a sale of our info, or other means.
- KelseyThis company has been calling me for... well, I don't know how long. At least a few weeks. It's really annoying. I haven't ever answered their calls (since it's on my cell phone, and I don't answer numbers I don't know). I recently searched for the number online, and here I am. The good news is, I don't have a credit card, but when I make online purchases, I buy Simon Giftcards and use them. So any credit card info they have is useless to them, since the card won't have any money on them. I think I'll look into the Do Not Call list... since they call on my cell phone (which, might I add, telephone soliciting on a cell phone is illegal), and they call me at weird times of the day. I got a call at 4:45 in the morning (yet another illegal move on their part)! I hope this ends soon...

- ChristineQuality Resources is a telemarketing company based in Florida. These annoyingly persistent phone calls are the product of an auto-dialer program. The reason they call so many times is because the numbers are thrown into an auto-dialer and if the person does not pick up, the number is thrown back into the system to be dialed again.
I called Quality Resources Customer Service (866-434-6600) and told the guy that answered my situation... I explained to the guy that answered that I was called multiple times today by his company and that was harassed by the telemarketer that I spoke with. I told them they rattled off information about gas vouchers, etc so fast that I don't even know what happened. I told him I was concerned that I was going to get charged for something that I adamantly told the lady in Sales I wasn't interest in.
He asked if I gave my birthdate or implied in any way that I wanted the package and I assured him that no, I had to actually cut the lady off to tell her that I wasn't interested and that she got an attitude and huffed "Fine well we just won't send you anything!" I was assured that because I hadn't given my birthdate and that I was verbally adamant about not signing up, I would not be charged. He also told me that each call is recorded and listened to by multiple departments. If you speak with someone in sales and you cuss them out and tell them you don't want anything from them and they STILL send your call through, someone in the quality department will listen to it and recognize it as a bad sale and throw it out.
I told him that I had to Google the number that called me and that there were tons of forums about the harassment of these calls and there's nothing but aggravation and reports to the Better Business Bureaus. I told him I didn't mean to shoot the messenger but that the telemarketers that work for his business are HORRIBLE and rude.
I was promised that someone would listen to my call tomorrow and make sure that I am not being charged and that I would be added to an internal Do Not Call list and that it would take 72 business hours for that to go into effect. Hopefully this is the end of this.- Caller: Quality Resources
- KarenAt the beginning of February, I received calls from 866-379-2003 a few times per day. Then, I was getting calls from 866-852-8157, now they just started calling from 866-379-2003 today again.

- doncho villaI have received 11 calls from this number in the last week. I never answer 866 calls anyway, either at home or at work but this is becoming as annoying as the New York City "Boiler Room" Penny Stock (of course, these days, that applies to my entire equities portfolio) cold calls from 212 417 8166.
- renedont` call me again
- Pyes, this number calls and never leaves messages...very suspicious. I called *69 and they answered by saying my name. I hung up..
- MAR 10 mar 2009My Husband and I recieved a call from this number about the free gas vouchers same stuff they verifed our address phone and last four digits of our credit card and then they wanted us to verify our birthdays so we hung up. We called the number back and the lady told us that our info was sold to them from a sister marketing company. They are located out of Clearwater Florida and the lady said that by saying yes and verifing all your info that is your electronic signature and gives them the authority to charge your account. SO DONT VERIFY ANYTHING SAY PLEASE TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST
- JTi ordered something from amazon last week and now i am getting an average of 8-10 calls per day from the 866-379-2003 number. haven't answered yet, and from people's responses on here i think i'll just keep ignoring it.
- gkcI've received several calls from 8663792003 in the past three days. I never answer any numbers that I don't know. They haven't left a message as of today.
- MARKI Have been receiving calls from this number and wish these scammers would take a hike. We need our cell phone providers to take ACTION against these people.
- JaneThey called me 5 times today...when I finally picked up she said something about free gas vouchers to which I responded 'no thank u' (I live in the city and don't have a car)...I then told her to take me off whatver list she got my name from and she abruptly hung up. I will be watching my credit card statement very carefully bc this seems VERY fishy.
- DENISE WILSONI keep getting calls from this number. I don't know who it is because they don't leave a message.
- Harassed Slim Clip CustomerI trace these harassing phone calls to a television advertisement I answered on 18 February 2009 for The Slim Clip money clip. http://www.slimclip.com/ I didn’t know about their web site at the time. I placed my Slim Clip order by calling, from my landline phone line, the number from the television commercial. I had never ordered a product by calling one of these numbers and it was a frustrating experience. I was unable to speak with a real person at any time and their voice menu system kept trying to get me to buy more items before they’d complete my order. When their voice menu system finally said that they had placed the order it did not confirm how many items would be shipped or what the total cost would be. It did however, give me their Customer Service number, 866-305-1361, which I promptly called to clarify what I had ordered and what the total cost would be but I was unable to reach anyone.
I received my Slim Clip order on 3 March 2009 for double the amount of what I had ordered. I called Slim Clip Customer Service at 866-305-1351 to tell them how displeased I was with their service. They said all they could do was credit $10 back to my credit card which they did as “ONT*SLIM CLIP” on 5 March 2009. They said I could send back the product I didn’t order but that I’d still have to pay the exorbitant shipping and handling charges on each item. I told them that I thought they had ripped my off, that their voice menu system was misleading, and I was thinking of reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I had called from my cell phone and did not put the *67 to block Caller ID delivery in front of the number. Later I found out from my cell phone company that your caller ID information is always delivered along with the call and it’s up to the call recipient’s Caller ID box to strip your caller ID information from the call. If the call recipient has modified their Caller ID box they can have it ignore the *67 Caller ID block.
On 9 March 2009 I started getting several calls from 866-379-2003. I was curious about these calls I had missed so I dialed *67-866-379-2003 to block my Caller ID information in my return call to the number. A woman answered, thanked me for returning the call and went into a sales pitch which included some free gasoline coupons. I didn’t give her any information and thought the *67 had blocked my caller ID information. When she asked if I still resided at my Columbia, Maryland address I hung up. Almost immediately after hanging up I received a call from 866-379-2003 which I did not answer. I continued to be harassed by calls from 866-379-2003 at 4:35PM, 5:59 PM, 7:53 PM, and the next day (10 March 2009) at 1:26 PM, and 4:44 PM. I called my cell phone service provider about these harassing phone calls. At 4:54 PM they blocked 866-379-2003 from calling my cell phone for 90 days. The block is free of charge and you can reinstate the block if you continue to be harassed after the block expires.
Although the call block has stopped 866-379-2003 from calling me I started receiving calls on 13 March 2009 from 954-671-6946 at 12:15 PM and from 909-650-9173 at 12:15 PM. At 2:26 PM, without checking the Caller ID on my cell phone I inadvertently answered a call from 954-671-6946. A female caller asked for someone with a name similar to my first name. I answered that there was no one here by that name and hung up. Then I realized the name the caller had asked for was the same as an incorrect spelling of my first name that had come on the shipping invoice from Slim Clip.
I received another call from 909-650-9173 at 10:29 AM on 14 March 2009. I called my cell phone service provider and got both 909-650-9173 and 954-671-6946 added to my block numbers list for 90 days.
I attribute these harassing calls to Slim Clip. Here’s what information I have on the Slim Clip Company.
