I just called the number back, told them that they were calling a business and asked to be removed from their list.  The gentleman was courteous and said that he would remove my number.  Let's see what happens.

I was getting several calls a day on my cell phine from them.

I called them back & asked to be put on their do not call list. They haven't called back

yea they sarted calling me today which happens to be my birthday. they kept calling me during class so when i got out and they called again i answered but no one was talking then they hung up. they called me like 5 times after that and it's getting really annoying.

This number called me almost 10 times in the span of 2 days, and I finally picked up to see who they were and to tell them to stop calling me. Next thing I know, they ask to very my birthday and tell me I'm being charged for something. Then I tell them to cancel it and they tell me I have to call their customer service, so I do that. Customer service tells me my "information isn't available yet" so they can't cancel it. If you answer by accident, DON'T VERIFY ANYTHING. It turns out that apparently the customer service line is not related to them, it's a different scam altogether. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as well as the police for my state, as well as cancelling my credit card. The "customer service" number they gave me was 1-800-475-1942.

They told me i'll recieve my package within 2weeks and that they start charging $99.00 per month if I don't cancel and i let them go ahead since they had my info and my card number and punched in my date of birth however they also said that they'll charge $3 now and i jst realized i've been charged $1.99!
So i'm going to the bank tomoro n tell them about it
hopefully i can cancel it or something!!!
Anyone has a number i can call to cancel their stupid vouchers?????

I got the calls too about the 40 vouchers,  The first thing they say is that the call is recorded and then ask you if you your name.  If you say yes,  they docture up the boice conversation using the YES from the conversation to instantly charge you, even if you later on deny the service.  What a hoax!!

This number called my cell phone about a month ago.
When I answered they asked for my boyfriend by his name and said it was in regards to his VISA card.  

1. Why would they be calling MY cell phone to get in touch with my boyfriend who has his own cell phone?  They should not be calling my phone and giving me his credit card information (which they did).  My boyfriend got on the phone and asked who they were and they hung up on him.  He then called Chase (thats where he has his visa card) and they put fraud on his account because those people were absolutely NOT calling from chase or VISA.

I got another phone call today from the same number asking for my boyfriend again.  They told me that we qualified for a free gift because we bought something from one of their brother or parent companies online.  I explained to the man who was on the line that they already called me a month ago in regards to my boyfriends visa and the man told me that they had never made the call and it was impossible!

--If you get a phone call from this number and they have the last 4 digits of your card number- call the number on the back of your card immediately and they will put fraud on the account and you will get a new card.

Its kind of scary if you think about it..

Called back and somehow they knew my full name.  Wish they'd quit.

I just started getting calls from this number, unless they are linked with snuggies, I did order those for Christmas, and have gotten calls from 2 different numbers with strange area codes. I don't answer them and they don't leave voice mails. I'm sure they are linked. I just don't answer them according to some of the other comments they will quit eventually.

These guys called on my cell phone 6 times today, I did not answer. They left no messages. So I called back @ 8:30pm EST, and they said, 'Hi Dave how are you?' First a lady got on and said you would get $40 in free coupons, then they transfered me to a guy that had my CC#. I had to tell him NO three times, and finally had to hang up.

I get soo many of this spam phone calls.  So i decided to have a lil fun.  Everytime they call me I speak in my native language of vietnamese and pretend i dont understand them.  and if they call me a second time i scream like a girl at the top of my lungs to blow the headset off there heads...

I just got a call from some woman who started touting about a free $40 gas card, generally matching the previous entries on this website for this 866 number.  She spoke at about a thousand words a minute, obviously a well-practiced speech, leading off with an admission that the call “may” be recorded.  I received a fairly-similar telemarketer sales pitch only a few days ago for which website research suggested it was a result of a recent online purchase in which the telemarketer had the last four of my credit card number and wanted to mail me a bunch of information and a $50 gas card at a one or two-dollar initial rate, and I was thinking this was the same scammer.  I challenged today’s caller who claimed to know nothing of that offer.  Anyway, after enduring this warp-speed pitch for about thirty seconds, I was able to key in on certain phrases she made suggesting that they were going to bill my credit card for one dollar immediately, which would cause me to receive a package of info in the mail, and that if I didn’t cancel this “money saving service”, I would be billed $19.95/month until I did cancel.  I broke in and said, specifically, “You keep talking about billing my credit card. I won’t even confirm or deny that you have all or part of my actual credit card number correct, but even if you do, I do not authorize you to make any charges against my card whatsoever and promise that I will dispute any charges you do make”.  At that point, she lost interest with impressive speed, blurted out a couple more quasi-intelligible sentences about “my ability to cancel my subscription whenever I wanted to by following the instructions on the cover page of (whatever they wanted to mail me)” or some such tripe, then she hung up.  I then started doing some web research on the number she called from, finding this site among others.  Other people entering data here claimed that they made repeat calls stop coming by calling the 866 number back and pressing a certain key associated with a prompt to be removed from their call list.  I called the number to do this for myself, but a female answered.  I said I wanted to be removed from their list, the female confirmed if “this request was coming from <my name>”, which was correct, I said yes, she said she would take care it, apologized for the intrusion and we were done.  Only time will tell if it stops the calls, but I’ve only had one (the original) so far.  I think its probably in a person’s best interest to specifically and verbally assert that he/she refuses to sign up for anything being offered by this telemarketer, because if they don’t, the telemarketer will bill their credit card and later be able to use the recordings to claim that “the cardholder didn’t tell us that we couldn’t bill his/her card for what we were offering”.  In other words, the cardholder (victim) has to specifically opt out, and the telemarketer knows that few will have the patience/tolerance to challenge the charges.  As an identity theft paranoid, I check my credit card account/pending charges online at least 5 times/week; here’s something new to keep a watch for.  These people are thieves.  On my planet, telemarketing is a capital offense…  Received this call at my office (ISDN line), for which Caller-ID displays only the caller’s number.

I got this call today it is a quality service company, if you made a purchase over the interet or something recently and they say you are a quality customer. Then they tell you, you will recieve a $40 gasoline voucher for free, along with purscribed something in the mail for only $1 for the first mo. and $19.99 for the following months. I told them no, and they sd well I was going to get it anyway, and that they would just keep calling me so... I asked them how they got my info. they have the last four of your debit/credit card, your address, your phone number...SPOOKY! so just plain out refuse it all. and tell them do not call me at a numbers you have available to reach me, i am not interested.

I was getting 4 or more calls a day from this company and didin't answer.  I just called back and a lady answered.  I told her I wanted my number removed from their system.  She asked if I wanted to know why they were calling.  I said if you are selling anything please just remove me.  She said she would and was very plesant about it.  I guess we will see if they stop.  Funny thing is I signed up for the "don't call list" 2 weeks ago.  Shouldn't that had stopped it before now???

Ok i have been getting calls from this number and also the (231)224-2009 number. I have never ever gotten calls like this before up until a week ago. It's all day everyday. I think they got my number when i purchased the "slim clip" thing online. Like i said I have never ever gotten calls like this until after i made that purchase. I also have seen people say they started getting the calls after purchasing the "snuggies" thing on t.v

They just started callin a few days ago, i dont answer these calls but it gets on my nerves so bad. its been comin 2 my cell so i answered the other day, lady asked if i was avail. i said 'no' then they asked if my husband was avail (im not married) i said 'no' then hung up, the only thing i can think of is i ordered a snuggie online... this is some messed up crap

Why are these people calling at 8:39 PM? Currently I am actually on the East Coast so it is 11:39PM and the man on the phone got an earful.

Something about I recently purchased something using one of their partner cards and I cut him off there.
