I run a business from my home. I answered the phone using my business name. A heavily accented man asked for me by name. (he mispronounced it though) I was suspicious so I said. "No this isn't, may I take a message for her?" and he hung up on me.  This was at 12:24pm pst. We'll see if this jerk calls back. I am also registered on the national Do Not Call List. Thanks to everyone for the warnings about this number!

A female called saying she was with a debt management company. The accent was something of an asian accent I believe. The call came through on my cell phone. When I answered the phone, it took me saying hello 3 times for the female to start talking.  My cell phone is listed with the Do Not Call registry. This is obviously a scam and I would beware of this 866-391-5776 number calling. I filed a complaint with the FCC on this number.

They have called me every day 2-3 times a day for the last few weeks.  Every time I answer I tell them not to call me again as I am listed in the National Do Not Call Registry.  They are trying to get a figure from me about how much I owe in unsecured Debt.

I just received a call from this number and he said it was National Credit something. I couldn't understand him he had an accent. I told him that we have had to file Bankruptcy and I wanted him to take us off their phone list. I said it with a matter of fact voice and he came back with "you can't even pay your bills and you are giving me attitude. I don't need that kind of disrespect and it is none of his business what we have had to do or why we have had to do it. He was very rude and I just disconnected the call.

I receive calls through out the day - daily from this number -- from day one when given my new cell number.  And they are a pest!!!  It distrubts my biz calls when I only get dead air! Only once have I got a person who spoke hoirrible english with thick accent... I told them to remove this number their list as it was the law to do so once instructed by receiver (me)!  Well so much for 'such protection' from the law!  It makes me want to not have a cell phone anymore as there are other numbers or unknown numbers appear on my cell phone too!   It's beyond annoying!!!!

receiving weird calls from the this phone # above about 18663915776 stating that i owe money but i dont

Got my first call this morning - The reason it takes so long for them to pick up the line is
a:  The are cold calling
b: They are using VOIP - so god only knows what country they are calling from.

Very heavily accented caller told me he was calling from the National Credit Agency and that I had substantial credit debt.  My immediate reply was that no, I've just applied and been approved for another credit card and that I do not have over $5k in credit card debt (which also happens to be the truth!).  

The guy actually sounded upset by the news and dropped the line.

The annoying thing is that I have registered with Donotcall and I am supposed to be active now so why are these idiots getting my number still ?

Calls Repeatedly and no one is there.  when you dial back there is a busy signal and a high pitched screeching noise.

I heard that there is anew form of frauds in the phone system and are using the 866 phone numbers to receive money just calling people.
My phone bill from $60/month rose to up to $200 just because my phone rang and my voice mail activated. From each fony boloni  calls I had to pay $5 just because my phone rang.

Very demanding scammers, are calling me 5 days in a raw.

Just adding another victim of harrassment to this list. These guys are rude and persistent. I can't add any information about the caller that hasn't already been listed by others.

If anyone has a cell phone you can put this number on your Reject list of numbers you don1y want calling you.

Got 3 calls a few days ago....Got the idea of saying they have the wrong number. They have not called back so far!!Might be worth a try!

Do not call. For I am not interested as well as several millions of Americans. These calls started when I enquired about federal grants. Big mistake. Grants cost you before you even know if you are getting the money. They tell you you will get your money back. What they don't tell you is that you will have to spend 20 times as much($59.99 1st init cost) to get any results, resulting in a denial of a grant. Anyway these numerous phone calls came into play when I enquired about grants. Yes we would like to make extra money, but, we will use whatever means or skills to achieve this. There should be laws to prevent this from happening.

Just got a single ring from them and they hung up. What are they trying to do? Drive people nuts with the stupid phone ringing all the time but with no intention of talking to us when they call?
