These people call all the time -- on cell phone numbers mainly!!  It DOES NOT MATTER if you are on the DO NOT CALL Federal listings.  They will continue to call and call and call... Very aggrevating if you bother to pick up the phone and answer because they will continue to call whether you tell them not to call or not.  Thank God for CALLER I.D.!!

I got a new cell number about a month ago. I keep getting calls fro India. Some collection company? They keep calling and calling and calling. I'm getting so aggravated. I wish I had there phone number so I can keep calling them all day. When you call the number back it says its disconnected. What a scam!

Probably the fifth call in as many days. No answer of course and no voice mail either. Call back doesn't connect to them either.  Number shows up both as a +86 number and as an 866 number. I add them all to a contact named f_ck Bag. My number and all these call are thanks to some douche who didn't pay his cell phone bill and gave up his phone.  Thanks idiot, hope your genitals rot off.

I got a call too from  866-391-5776 & I can turn off the ringer seperately on my cell.

I have had MANY calls from this number  866-391-5776 Some times 4 times a day. I do not answer the calls. My fiancé answered and  they will not speak. I have called the number back and it states it is a non working number.

When I called back the message said that number is not is service

wow I just got a call from this number for the first time on my cell phone// I could hear the call center in the background and then they just hung up. I thought I would just google the number to see if I could get any info and apparently they do this all the time// Luckily my phone can block numbers so I just added them to my blocked calls list// Most samsung phones can do this if you have one.

It was a person with an Indian accent, I think, selling debt reduction. The format of the number and accent made me concerned that it was an international call which I'm sure I get charged for. It is very upsetting to get a call like this on my cell phone.

juast got a call, didn't answer cause I didn't recognize the number. No message left. I thought I would see if I could find a business address by googleing it. This is what I found.

Received this call at my workplace today!  My co-worker took call as I was busy.  Have no clue who they are.

Rec'd about the 10th call in 2 weeks after telling them I'm on the do not call list.  The male person--told me to shut the f--k up.  My husband and I clled our phone company to file a complaint--we were told we needed a police report.  We did contact the State Police and filed a report.  Icalled phone company back with the SJS #.  I'm so sick of being hassled by them.  Somehow they know we have a time-share, and believe it or not---in this poor depressed economy--they have hundreds of people waiting in line to buy our time share for a small handling fee!!!!!! I have told the gentleman who I did not understand because of an accent to stop calling me and I was no interested in reducing any debt after telling him that he hung up on me.  I also tried to call the number back and got a busy signal.  They will never stay on the phone with you long because they always hang up on you.  I got my husband to answer the phone lastnight March 16,2009 thinking maybe he could get them to quit but they hung up on him also before he could ask to speak to a manager or someone in charge.  Where did they get my cell number from and how are they able to look at my information.  That is really scary to me and makes me worry about my information and credit info.  Can anyone help me with this situation, or does anyone know what to do about it.  My cellphone carrier has said they can't block the call or anything else.

I signed up for a Skype phone number for 30 days.  Since then I've received 5+ calls from this number, all leaving voicemail messages 2 seconds in duration.  I luckily am never online when they call.  How the heck do you stop this?  I'm about ready to ask Skype for my money back.  Along with this phishing calls (only know this from reading what others posted) I've received numerous calls from people looking for "friends" who owe them money!!!

Excessively repetitive calls!!!

My dear deceased father owed some money to Elan when he passed. That was HIS debt unknown to my brother & sis until his passing. Elan hassled us to settle. We refuse. Now.......the illiterate twit calling from 1-866-391-5776 wants to speak to my Dad. YOU TELL ME Elan's not compromised my phone number by soliciting these jag-offs !

Caller knew my first name.  When asked what he wanted he said it was about my credit card debt.  I do not HAVE any.

yeah they called me around 8:39 at night...and i pick up they sit on the phone for about a good minute and dont say nothing and hang up...and i guess im not alone because everyone is having the same problem...its pissing me off
