866-394-4494 called me at 3AM last night and said someone was "typing stuff" and they also knew my first name. I hung up and called the number back the next day and they said it was a relay service. I couldn't identify the number. But does anyone know what a relay service is?

They just called me from that number... it's fricking midnight.
but they said it was a relay message... wtf?

can these people that pull pranks on iprelay be reported if they are not actually causing any crime just harassing somebody???

I got the same damn thing. This person called me and told me they had a "relay" call for me. I just hung up. I dont care if its for deaf people to make phone calls, the fact that random ass people can just get my number and make calls is stupid scary [***]. Anyone have a way of banning this?

sounds like a fan motor on my voicemail...I have a cell phone and am on the do not call list..... if I continue to get back to back calls i will report it to the fcc

Some guy called me, and said it was real something survey and said when i say go ahead talk slowly and say go ahead too. and he said it was Nathan. It pissed me off cause he didnt make any sense.

where does the calls come from

this number called me 10 times in one day, finally at 200am it woke me from my sleep so I answered it and the operator said that he was doing a relay call that the person on the other line couldn't speak so they were going to speak for them ....i hung up right away because i didn't know wtf it was...5mins later they called again and i let my voice mail get it, they left a message in a WEIRD voice saying, hey baby last night was great i cant wait to do it again...then 5 mins later i had another one saying baby i want to f*** you again. last night was great. the voice sounded like a female and i'm a female and not gay :)

WEIRD but if this number calls, don't answer it's some sick F**Ks with NO LIFE!

I got a legit call from this number from a deaf person about a classified ad I have running, so it's used for honest purposes too.

I got a creepy phone call from this number at 12: 30am. It woke me up and the person on the other side knew EVERYTHING about me! All my personal info and even things that I was doing at the very moment! VERY CREEPY! I was continually told to go down to my mail box so I stayed inside and locked all the doors. I was very po'd to say the least.

Gat a call at 1 am about furniture I had for sale and they said to e-mail them at jesfx88@juno.com

I received 3 calls in 5 minutes from this number.  The second time this number called, he left a message that i couldnt understand..time to file a compliant on the Do Not Call registry

I got a call , and the operator said it was a relay colelct call , free of charge . & that she can't engage in coversation , but she will repeat to me what the other "caller" is saying . they said something about my tmobile phone & it being reported stolen 6 times , when I've never reported it stolen not one time . they then asked for a parent contact and said my phone would be shut off at 4 o'clock in the morning . ugh , wtf is this . . the police need to be involved in this !

While it is a for legitimate deaf people, the scammers have latched on to this service for ripping people off and can not be identified. I received a call from this number immediately after disconnecting a call from 310-599-5730 which is a scammer spoofing a number.
