CALLS ALL THE TIME. WHO IS IT

Call from this number identifying themselves as Barclays Bank master card. This outfit should be investigated.

It's Barclay Credit Card or Bank service for collections.

Troll from Barclay's Collections asking for someone who left the company, whose phone number I now have the pleasure of having. This is gonna be fun. I had to call the number back to find out what company it was. The "guy" on the line kept asking me for my name and SS#. I kept telling him that I only have the phone number, that I personally was not asked for and don't have any accounts with the company. "Don't you want me to check for you?" What part of, "they were not calling for me" did you not understand??? Moron.

I am getting 4-5 calls a day from this number.  At one time i read how to totally mess up their automated dialing , using the numbers 0 and 1 in multiples, when the calls come in. Tried it w/out luck.  Anybody else know of this?
Oh, BTW, also identified as "customer support service", asking me to enter either my cc number or ss # number, like that's gonna happen.  Class action for harassment??

They need to stop calling and using up my minutes on my cell phone

Thank you for sharing that number, Amy. I just called it and spoke with a rep, who said he would put a 'cease and desist' order on my phone number. We'll see.

It is a scam.  give no personal information.

This number has called twice. When I tried to call the number back, the automated prompt asked me to enter my bank acct or ssn. Must be a scam

They have called every day for the past two weeks ~ four times a day. I refuse to answer the call.

this is a bank located in delaware but their headquarters are in the Philippines!! when you call back their number just put in any numbers as your account or social and you will get right through.. and then do what I did and tell them to #$#@! OFF!!!!

yeah , this is a national problem needs to be addressed.

This number calls and never will leave messages. Call early in the am..which I hate! I don't pickup unless I know the number.

Ok but what about the innocent people who have no card with your monster company that are being harrassed? Ofcourse youre going to defend them, they pay your bills! This is wrong and something needs to be done about it bc I am tired of being harrassed when I dont even own a damn credit card.

This is a legitimate number.  They call 5 times a day because they want to reach you.  They have called me over a few days at 8am, 10am, noon, 3pm, 5pm, and 8pm.  I have a caller ID app on my phone that was reporting the number as suspect so I wasn't answering it.  When I did, I found out it was the collections department of Barclays (Barclaycard credit card). I missed a payment last month and they were trying to collect to get my account current. They waived the penalty with a payment. Just answer the phone.  They told me who they were and didn't ask me for my personal info but verified that they had the right person, told me what they had on file for me, my delinquent credit card info, ect. So if you get someone asking you for your social security number right away, that's suspicious for sure. That didn't happen on my call. Person was very professional and polite.  I can't believe I'm writing this, but it was one of the few times I can remember thinking that, and wasn't frustrated by the person on the other end of the line. That's pretty much what motivated me to write this message. For whats it worth....

routinely twice a day I get a phone call from this #866-408-4070. we are on the do not call list. they do not leave a message. they interrupt our meals, sleep, etc.. this is not an invited call!!!!!! I refuse to answer phone.

I received a call from 866-408-4070 on my landline. I answered it letting them know that their call was being recorded because I thought it may be a scam. He proceeded to tell me that he was sorry, but I'm not allowed to record him. I told him its my phone number and I could do whatever I wanted. He insisted he could not speak with me until I stopped recording him. I told him I refused, and asked him what he wanted. He still refused to talk to me, so I hung up. Who is this person and why did he call me? I also received a similar call on my cell phone from Missouri, but I didn't get to it on time, and they didn't leave a message. Is this the same company but different phone number? I found out the one who called my cell was a scam. I received the 866 number 3 minutes after receiving the Missouri number.
