ok, i just called them back and a lady said it was an automated dialing system and you can ask them to take your number off their list it takes about 48 hours to have it removed though.

I to have been getting numerous calls from this number both at home and on my cell as well as others 8xx numbers.  We are now answering any 800 or 8xx and unknown numbers with a bogus business name like a pizza parlor or mortuary.  It sure throws the caller for a loop, especially the ones that are reading from a script and don't speak English very well.  Try it it works better than asking to be pulled off their list.

when i called this number they said they were a career consulting firm. i think the way they get your number is from searching careerbuilder and monster the best thing to do is to remove your number from your resume unless you request that the company calls you directly, then provide your phone number. the dummies never leave a message, but i believe it is a collection agency!

I just recieved a call from that number. I did inquire about Aviation school, so that is one connection I have with one of you. But, I don't recall leaving my phone number. It was a brief ring. Hopefully, they don't call again or I'm answering "-Random city- Police Department".

Called during day, asked for me by name and stated they were a career advisory company.  Clinique was caller. (???) I requested that my name and number (which was gotten off on-line job opportunities at Snag-a-job) be deleted.  I will see.

This # calls my cell phone at least 2 times a day. I have requested they stop calling but to no avail!! any sugestions???

Its a place called Career Advisors and they are getting our numbers from job websites

Okay - so, I think I've narrowed down who and where the calls are coming from.

If you are looking for a job, and filling out your information using either Craigslist or "Voice Applied Nationwide Customer Service - Nationwide Staffing Solutions", then it's one of these 2 sources.

I don't know who else they buy the numbers from, but I am presently seeking employment and have been using valid resources such as Monster as well as other reputable website for career hunting and have never encounter these types of crazy, odd hour calls.

But, recently I applied for a job through an ad on Craigslist, and in the same  day I was also directed from craigslist to the Voice Applied company ~ within 2 days the calls started coming. Only twice a day and yes, no messages were left and no, I never answered the calls.

I just called the number, after 6 rings a machine answered stating I had reached Career Advisers... it's past 10pm pacific time, so not likely there is anyone working...

online job applications is one good possibility...my husband is looking for a job...and we have been totally swamped with these mystery calls...other numbers have been calling as well...

this caller called me 3 trimes a day and i pick up and they hang p on me then whe n icall back they say its a career advisor

Got few calls from 866-539-4654.  They ask for my son and I ask if I can take the message.  Both times, they ask me to tell him to call back at that same number.  But, if you call, it says that this number cannot receive calls.  What is this all about?  The gentleman also told me that he was carreer advisor.

I have started receiving calls from this number too, I called it back and it says career advisors on the recording. I beleive they got my number from snag a a job. I totally regret putting my info on their, they say even if you opt out of their site, they can still retain records with your personal information on it.Its stupid but yeah I think thats where they got my number from

This number has started calling me. I just filled out some online job applications through places like snagajob.com and others.
