How can I get calls from this number STOPPED!  They call constantly.

Called the number back, and the automated robot said it was "Union Insurance" from Pitsburgh PA. If you follow the autmated system, you can suposedly remove your number from the call list. After completing the prompts, the robot says it will take up to 2 biz days.

Continues to call after repeatedly asking them to stop.  I'm on the Do not call registry and have lodged complaint with WellsFargo.com.  Now looking to lodge complaints with legal action!!!  If you go to Wellsfargo.com....do not sign up....look for customer service area.  That way you don't have to leave an ATM account number with pin and Social Security number...what, are they stupid to be asking me to give this to them?!?!?

The opt-out number worked. We have a WF mortgage but did not knowingly set the preferences to allow telemarketing. Simply call the #, enter your info and change your telemarketing preferences to "do not call". Thanks!

I don't do business with Wells Fargo.

I called the number to change my privacy preferences and the first thing I was asked for is my social security number.  Kiss my what?

Too bad we all can't get toll lines and charge people who call us.

The FTC's Donotcall.gov is a waste of time.  It's a clumsy exercise in masturbation.  It feels like you're accomplishing something ... but you're not.

I filed a complaint with the FTC about the FTC for being a bunch of do-nothing bureacrats.

Donotcall.gov should be an opt-out service.  In other words, all numbers should automatically be do-not-call numbers unless the owner opts out.  Do not call should apply to everyone: non-profits, political campaigns, etc.  People who work for telemarketing companies should be forbidden from having any of their phone numbers on the do not call list.

If 9 out 10 government employees were put out of work would anyone notice?

They call us several times a day. I called them back and tried to put our number on the Wells Fargo do not call list, but it just keeps telling me to enter my phone number, then press 1 if correct, which I did, then it says press 2 now and it asks me for my phone number again.
I also called  1-888-528-8460 mentioned in the comments above, but they ask you to enter your social security number, which I am not comfortable doing.
I also tried the weblink named in the comments, but it also asks for the SSN.

The Caller ID and Caller's name is not correct.

They call me all the time.  Please please please do not give them any information.  Your social security number is private!  If they only want to take you off the list, they only need your number.  Don't give them anything else.  I am trying the Panasonic answering machine with call block feature, which was suggested.  Hope it works.

They said they were calling from Homecoming Financial (mortgage company).  They wanted to send me two $15 gas vouchers and enroll me in a 60 day trial for medical benefits, but you have to call to cancel once you get the letter/vouchers.  They wanted my birthday to verify the information.  I told them to take me off their list and I didn't want them to send me anything.  The guy on the phone was mumbling and not making any sense.  I think he was on drugs.

I get this call daily but I am not at home. Today I was and I answered. They confirmed my name and said have a wonderful day and hung up.

Call is from National Union Fire Insurance Co in Pittsburgh PA according to the message I got when I called them back.  There is and option to have your number added to their do not call list.  Not sure why the National Do Not Call Registry isn't good enough for them as I have been on that one since I moved over a year ago.
