Have called numerous times and each time I declined the offer and told them to stop calling me. Now when I answer the call nobody responds, they just sit there while I keep saying "hello" repeatedly. I have even called Wells Fargo and instructed them to take me name off the call list. My home is also mortgaged through Wells Fargo and I'm in the process of searching out a new mortgage company just because I'm fed up with these calls. It's going to cost Wells Fargo about $175,890.00 because of these irritating phone calls. I'm also on the "do not call" list.

I work in a call center, and although I'm not in the telemarketing section I do know a bit about the way these calling campaigns work. First of all, if you are a customer of Wells Fargo they legally have the right to call you even if you are on the national Do Not Call list. That's the way the law was set up. There is no point in sending angry letters or yelling at the customer service agents who take your phone call. All you need to do is tell them you do not want to receive telemarketing calls. If they tell you it will take awhile for the calls to stop, just insist that they remove your phone number from their automated dialer immediately. If the agent demurs, ask to speak to a supervisor. Be polite and patient about it and you are more likely to get results. Legitimate telemarketers will honor your request.

STOP CALLING!I'M REPORTING YOU!!!

I hate Wells Fargo Bank.  They checked my credit report when I opened a checking account stating that I requested credit.  This was a lie as I did not request credit.  I just opened a checking account.  This brought my credit score down by about 20 points at a time I was seeking to re-finance.  Terrrible bank.  I hope they go bankrupt! I closed my account with them but they keep calling me.

these guys call from this # annoyingly several times a day.  They sell insurance of some sort, they never leave a message and even though my # is on the do not call list they still call.  They get the #'s from wells fargo. They are telemarketers coz when you call back the # they say this a special insurance offer........and I shgould press 1 and type my # in

We get several calls a  day from this number which has been going on for the past several months.  Thank goodness for Caller ID!  It appears to me that the type of people who can keep calling the same number, several times a day, for weeks on end, and still not get their calls answered, evidentally do not have the "light on upstairs"....otherwise, they would soon realize that they are wasting their time and more importantly ours.  Wish I could handout a large REWARD to the perosn(s) who get these people to stop calling all of us!

We have several bank accounts with Wells Fargo, but you can bet your sweet bippy that we may be changing to another bank institution because of this harrassment!  Their loss..............

I keep getting calls from this # and let it go to voicemail, but they left no message. I wish they would stop calling

They called me twice today.  They never leave a message.  They don't seem to hang on after two rings.  I do bank with Wells Fargo, but the nice people that I see at the bank would never make phone calls like that....

Telemarketing

They have been calling about 3-4 times a day and it's getting annoying. I bank with Well's Fargo so I guess that explains where they got my number. I tried calling the number back to get on their do not call, we'll see if they stop calling now. I have a tip for those who call the number: After you punch in your number and they ask you to press 1 if this is correct, wait a few seconds before dialing 1. The first time through I think I pressed it too fast and I had to go through the whole process over again.

I get 1 call every night but they never leave a message.

This scared me at first, the man seemed young and overly happy.  I have had Wells fargo for years and I have never received a call like this from thier representatives.  And if I did, it would not be at this time of night.  I asked the state from where this guy was calling from, and he said after thinking for a few seconds and telling me to "hold on", he was calling from Ohio.  I checked the time there now (it is 8:4pm in California) and it is 11:45pm.  Why would Wells Fargo call you at 11:45pm their time?
That doesn't seem like a banking call, it seems like a scam.  I hung up, but I don't think anyone should follow thier lead.

I called the 1-888-528-8460 number to get these idiots to stop calling me and one of the first questions before you can proceed is: "Please enter your SS#".  Anyone giving out a SS# is out of their mind.  They are NOT supposed to ask this question....ever.  Obviously, I'll continue to get the calls since there is no way I'm giving anyone access to my entire life thru my SS#

I too have been receiving daily calls from them.  When I called the number given above, they wanted my SS #.  No way would I give it out.  I filed a complaint with the FCC.  When I have done this in the past, these calls stopped.

They kept calling so I called the number and there was a selection to choose to take you off of the list...when you answer when they call there is a message to hang on..I don't hang on for anyone

These calls continue daily and several times a day, in spite of no one answering. I do not appreciate it, and will NEVER answer. If I need them, I'll call them!
