Wow, I can't believe that some stupid scam artist company can use statements such as:  "Your Access to Government Funds", "Official Information Re: $25,000.00 Grant from U.S. Government", Important Release Of Government Funds Pending" and this one tells on themselves "G.F. Institute Created To Assist American Residents Access Government Funds".  OKAY...... I'm trying to get a Grant to help me open my own PR Business, (a discounted Marketing & Public Relations Company ran from my home office). I want to help companies that are having problems staying open to  as well as PR to help new businesses grow in my community.  I know there is an "OFFICIAL" Government Grant Website that is "REAL" but unsure of because of CRAP Sites like this one.  Basically you are told they can "Help" you get a Government Grant...and you pay them or they send you the information that tells you how to apply.  If they were the "Government" they wouldn't charge anything.  I think this should be considered "FRAUD" and "False Advertising" if you ask me.  I am going to try to figure out how to report them to the Government itself and I also feel that any persons out there that paid for instructions or paid for this company to apply for the grant for them, should all get together and file a "Class-Action Lawsuit".

I can't believe there are people out there who actually fall for this kind of thing. At the risk of sounding "nasty" and/or "unsympathetic" anyone who thinks this is legitimate pretty much deserves what they get.

i got the mailer and payed the $59 before I saw this site.  they sent me a book called "professional grant writer" and gave me 30 day free trial to a database of grants, but supposedly I can call and cancel before the 30 days is up and not be charged $19.95 a month. also, the said after applying for 3 grants, if i didn't receive at least $25,000 in grant money, then they will refund my $59. now that i know that this is a scam, what can i do? please call (443) 875-3111.

I just got a mailer today from G.F. Institute offering me a $25,000.00 grant also.  Think it's time we all put a stop to this little scam.  Grants from the Government are out there, and are free, but you have to go find them, they don't just get mailed to you in this manner.  These are scam artists and they should be prosecuted as such.  There are alot of ignorant people that will fall for this.  Get rich quick, it only happens when a rich uncle dies and leaves you millions.

I have received a lot of these mailings telling you about the $25,000. I've called some of them and some just thrown away, because I knew they were too good to be true. My husband is out of work at this time so I sure wish it was not a scam. Were they get people is the envelope looks so real and authentic. What they probably send you is the list of where you can go for scholarships which you can do that on the web. Be on the look out for grants and scholarship scams, there are more out there than you think.

    GO AWAY PLEASE!!
Please do not get caught up in this scam.   People will go at anything to make a dollar.  Nothing is free.  The government does not give free money in the form of grants but they do loan if you qualify.

I figured that they did not mention the $59 dollars in the form. Nevertheless, I still called, I got a recording and what really disgusted me was the mentioning of the bailout money, our money, it's a ashame to hear somebody is playing games with our childrens money. Money they will have to pay back. These things disgust me,as a person that put his life on the line in two deployments to keep this country safe. Is it to keep it safe for this scammers? It looks like things ain't going to change.

DO not call 1-866-576-9176! This is a scam pure and simple! I received this mailer yesterday. It has a big red APPROVED stamp misleading everyone to think that they have already been approved. I checked this number out at the BBB and they have an F rating! What they do is have you call the number and than tell you that you need to give them 60 dollars. They than will send you a book of sites for grants to fill out for that you can just as easily get online for FREE! They than tell you that if you don't get at least a 25k grant that they will give you your 60 dollars after showing 3 letters turning you down but they are'nt giving anyone their money back!It says respond within 36 hrs. to access funding like the moneys just waiting to be put in your account. If it sounds to good to be true it is! NO MONEY IS FREE MONEY!

I am tired of all these scams!!!!  Why hasn't the government done something about it?  They are targeting people who in this recession will believe in the smallest of mericals.  When in doubt google it!  type in the number or address, email or otherwise and google it.  It will come up..
