I as well just got this letter today thanks to all of you that reported i was not ripped off i hope my comment will help some one else as well......

I just received this paper in the mail and checked it out online and there is no info other than scams the number I have is 1-877-450-6542.

they were offering me $25,000 govn grant for the price of $59.00 and im like why do I have to pay $59.00 for a govn grant of $25,000 . I dont know how they got my name and address and sent me a approved official info for the amount... I want nothing to do with these people...

G.F. Institute, in Kansas City, has sent me a mailer saying I can claim governtment funds in the amount of $25,000.  I have 36 hours upon receipt to collect these funds.  I am to call 1-877-450-6537.

Thank HEAVENS FOR GOOGLE AND GOOD HONEST PEOPLE!!! This is no doubt a scam. Don't be fooled by this.I applied for a student loan and suddenly I am sent this 25,000 letter. I am not this lucky !!!! Don't call this number!!!

Yesterday I had recieved a letter saying I had received a grant of $25,000.00 from G.F. Institute.  And that I needed to response within 36 hours to get it. They give me a release code to give them. And give me this phone number 1-877-450-6537 which had no dail tone to it. So beware of this number as well.

June 20, '09  Received the mail a few minutes ago with the same mailing everyone seems to be getting and the phone number to call is listed as 1-800-450-6542 this can be added to all the other different numbers this source is using.  I decided to check the internet first, then I contact the BBB to check this "company" out and if the BBB doesn't have a file on them I asked them to run a file, which takes 2 or 3 weeks, but at least it lets the BBB know that there is ANOTHER scam out there.

Got a message from G.F.Institute with a request to call 1-877-450-6537 for a grant possibility of $25,000 or more.  No fees or cost of any kind it said.  It gave a Release Code number 3680 1649155

I am so glade that I decided to look this card up on line, when I got it.  Approved. call 1-877-450-6542.  From G.F. Institute.  Yes, postage paid by A Carol Stream, Il.  I was recently trickedn to a Nigerian Scam!  And FOREX was putting out the 1,997.00 check.  And my bank cashed it like a fool.  Coz every thing looked ligit.  So now they are looking me up side my head for the fraudlent check amount.  But the letter came from Canada, stating that my name had been picked from some computer crap.  And I feel for this rap.  I barly was able yo keep a roof over my head.  I had to close down my Chase Bank account-before they cleaned me out for the money.  I money gramed 1,850.00 of that money to some girl in Dallas Texas.  Under the instructions of some so called agent.  But they won't get away with this one!  Thank you for your safe information and instructions.  I will not be a fool and be used this time around.  The will be the ones who are going down.  CHEZEKAKE of TEXAS

I got one too.  Remember:  TURN THESE "LETTERS" OVER TO LAW ENFORCEMENT.  THEY WILL DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEM.

I always worry about the elderly people - BECAUSE THEY ARE VICTIMS TO ALL SORTS OF THIS KIND CRIME.

Talked to a girl named Latina. I never give my credit info over the phone and please, people, NEVER give credit info over the phone. Their guarantee is nothing but words, especially after they have your credit info, DON'T be a fool!!!

RECEIVE  THIS LETTER FROM  G.F.INSTITUTE  TODAY SAYING  THAT I WAS APPROVE  FOR  FREE GRANT MONEY, SOMETHING ABOUT THIS JUST DID,NT STICKUP RIGHT SO I WENT ON LINE TO FIND OUT JUST WHAT WAS WHAT, AND TRUE ENOUGH THIS IS A SCAM SOMETHING NEED TO BE DONE ABOUT THESE SCAMMERS, IAM GOING TO CALL  JUST FOR
