REceived this notice today... with a release code, even!!  I got on the internet to see if they were even listed and if it were a scam.  That's obvious, I reckon.  It's my first time to get "notice" but I've learned about giving my credit card out for anything.  It's getting worse and worse...

This bag of fertilizer has spread to my state. I received an piece of junk mail on this. I see alot of other people are getting calls and mail. This is one reason to have an unlisted number.

Got the same letter in the mail, thought it might be a scam. Checked it out, it is a scam. No call yet,but i'am waiting for them.

umpteen phone calls by what audibly seemed to be a female shri-lankin, or other mid-eastern illiterate {literally could not speak english}, and now a business form later, obviously a burn system, but the continuing persuance of my personal agenda is what p's me off.  Is there no laws regarding this activity?  I'd like to know!

i received one of this mail too! but i didn't trust i knew it was scam, so i went online. i didn't make a call coz its a scam thanks for the info.

I called the number, from a blocked number of course.  They just want to sell you a grant guide.  this is their website.  www.newgrantguide.org

I, too, received one of these bogus letters.  I decided to google the company, or government branch, or whatever they are pretending to be.  This site came up. A big thank you to everyone who has responded to this, as it has been helpful to get a feeling for what is apparently a scam, and saves time in checkin up on this.   I hope that these scammers are caught and exposed.  Please be careful !!  RW

I just got my check for $25,000.  So awesome, I really needed the money and now I am going on vacation and paying off old my bills.  And the best thing is I don't even have to pay it back.

I got one in the mail today, also.  Did a google search and found  this. Thanks.  I was pretty sure it was bogus.  You're right when it sounds too good to be true, it's cause it usually is.

I got one of these in the mail, but I did not check out the company till now.  I orderd and got a book called the Professional Grant Writer, but that is not the same company as on the mail peice so I wanted to check it out.  I am reading throught the book and it is actually pretty good. I don't know if it is a scam or not, maybe a very aggressive marketing.  Little shaddy, but ok product

I had gotten this letter, along with a newspaper that headlines MULTI BILLION DOLLAR GIVEAWAY APPROVED BY CONGRESS_ MONEY IS AVAILABLE NOW. There was a post it that was in hand written lettering (clearly done by a computer) that was signed with the initial J. The newsletter was dated Wednesday January 14 . and had examples of people around the country who had gotten "free money" This is a scam do not even call these crooks.

It is so sad that you have companies and people like this out here that would lead people on, knowing that people are having such a hard time. Yes I to got this information in the mail a few days ago, and through I had better do a little checking up on this company and this is what I found. Thanks folks.

I just got one of these with 25,000.00 funds pending.  Free money in a broke world, please!  I recognized the scam immediately without any questions asked.  We have got to remain focused and not fall for this foolishness no matter how hard times get.

Yeah I got got this letter in the mail too. Thanks you to everybody that posted. I probably would've wasted my time calling if I did'nt look this # up first.

I almost bit and i am glad i took the precaution to ask google and receive this information from other potential victims.  Is the FBI or postal service alerted to this scammer?
