Wrong scam not electric company

Got a call from this number indicating I needed to call them back and make payment arrangements for my utility bill. Logged into the utility company website and was informed that this was a SCAM. One should never call a third party to pay their utility bill. If the call was legit they would have advised you to contact the utility company to make payment arrangements and not give them your account, ssn, and payment information.

I just got called by this company so they're back at it.

I just got a call from this number, and when I answered, I said "hello" three times, then it hung up

Got a call from this number said it's AEP, my bill was late, power will be cut off. I never answered it let answer machine get it.

Said that my electric bill was unpaid and power would soon be cut off. They called mu work phone in Illinois, leaving both this number and a 1(800) number to pay the bill. The 800 number (611-0964) was for Appalachia Power company. I obviously don't live in Appalachia, nor does my local power company contact me over my work phone.

Call said AEP. Funny. I don’t have an account with them, yet the message said I was late.

8667153526  is a fraudulent caller.  Do not return their call and do not provide them with any information.  If you think anything is wrong with your AEP account, call AEP using the number on your statement.

A number called and said that I had to pay a bill and also that they were doing work at my residence. Both are untrue

This # called me. I did not answer. I did call back & muted it but it was silenced. Very weird. I dont trust this #. I also googled this # & it showed up what other people said about this & it wasnt good.

I was called by this number,about my aep bill,even tho its not due til next month.

Same number called me as an "UNKNOWN" caller, left a voicemail that said that i was about to be cut off please provide SS# or Account#. Checked my Bill online and still have 2 weeks till due date with $0 past due

I recieved a call from this number saying there was a service order for my address. I called the main number to ask about it and was told that the number is valid and that it is a new automated courtesy call.

The message said they were AEP and they had a work order for my address and needed my account number and SSN.  This is a SCAM!

This call came in saying Appalachian Power..my bill must be pd before due date to avoid disconnect....SCAMMER!!!!!
