this number is from juniper credit card company. if you have a card from them ,this is why they are calling.i have one.

This is from an unnamed "customer service" department that refuses to identify itself, they call every hour.  It appears to be some kind of scam.

Call everday and then every hour on weekends. Automated message claiming to be US Airways Mastercard. I do have a card with them.

Just recently started getting calls from them constantly.
I finally got fed up with it so I answered and the person
asked for personal information. that's when I laughed at them
and hung up.

It seems to be a scam because people are getting different things.
my advice: if you have a card with one of the places their claiming
would be to call the actual company and report this.

Multiple calls per day and weekend...up to 14.  Even though a payment is scheduled,  calls continue.  The only solution to this is never do business with Juniper/Barclay Banks. All these calls are for a payment which started out to be 2 days late.  Most of those calling are OK but some are asking questions which are none of their business...I.E.  "Why are you late with your payment?"....Please don't get into this with them.  You can remind them of Federal Laws which are available on the net..........

I keep getting calling my home every hour, finally picked it up and it is Juniper.  I hung up because I will not be harrassed.  They just received a payment 2 weeks ago and there is no reason for them to be continuously calling this way.  I don't know why they are doing this to so many people but I think it's time for all of us to start reporting them to those who regulate harassment calls.

I get automated calls several times a day, saying they are my Air Tran Visa (Barclay Bank) and that my account is $30 past due.  The automated caller asks for the last four digits of my Social Security number.

Since 8:45am this AM.  I have been getting calls.  I is 9:15am and that number appears every 10 min. on my CELL phone!!!  I also have a card with Juniper.  I just recently signed up with ResQdebt and am signing a power of attorney to stop them from calling me.  Hopefully this will help.  Good luck to all of you that are getting haunted by these folks.

(866)740-4298 is a valid phone number.  I have a Mastercard and I didn't get a bill and thought I had paid for September 2009.  I got two of these calls in one day and was unable to answer the phone before it hung up.  I called the number and it was an automated process.  It will ask if this is <your name> and then you hit '1' if so.  You then are asked to confirm the last four digits of your ssn.  It then gave me how much I owed my credit card company (which sounded right) and to press a number to pay or another if you have already paid.  I hit that I already paid and it asked for the amount.  From there it got annoyingly repetitive so I hung up and called my credit card company.  They mentioned the amount I had just promised to pay and said that I had not paid for Sept 2009.  

This phone number is legit.  You can either talk to it if you like automated messages or call your credit card company.  Id recommend calling your credit card company.

These [***] just called me three times within a 25-min. period.  From 8:32 to 8:57 AM. That is harassment in my book. Like I'm a morning person, sheesh!!  I PAY them every month on time and I am not past due, although the due date is approaching in less than a week.  What's the f#&king deal??  Scum of the earth

It's for US Airways Credit Card (Juniper Bank).  Been late with my payment this month :(

Received a ghost call

Call is from Barclay, I have a card with them that was shipped to me and then returned to sender.

It is the collection company working for US Airways Mastercard.  
I called them back and they did not immediately identify themselves until I pressed the matter.  They do collections for several banks.  The person answering the phone said my card was past due/delinquent.  I disputed this. She didn't know what to say and asked if I wanted to make a payment.  I said no because I shouldn't have a balance.  
She finally gave me the number bank's dispute deprtment.

Receive several calls a day from this number, no one answers or leaves a message.

BEWARE this is a scam. This is part of IDENTITY THEFT, they called my husband and "STUPID HIM" he gave up all of our personal information. We are not knee deep in trying to resolve all the issues now...

I have a card with Juniper, I've never been late with a payment.  My payment is due today, it is paid.  I started getting phone calls from them 2 weeks ago reminding me of the payment.  Now they are calling me 6-24 times a day.  This morning between 8:15 and 8:20 they called 6 times.  This is harrassment.  I have set my phone to send the call straight to voicemail.  DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH JUNIPER VISA.

They continue to call and when you call back you have to leave your name and Social Sec #.  I think they are running a scam.
