Nuance is a software company that licenses Dragon Naturally Speaking, PaperPort and OmniPage.  They come up with updates almost annually.  I've licensed most of them and they're decent, and I've been reasonable happy with them.

Their customer service leaves a great deal to be desired, and their internal records aren't good.  I keep getting calls to license a program I already bought from them.

Other than that they're fine.  If you check them out on the website and don't have a use for any of their programs, my guess is they'll honor your listing in the national Do Not Contact list, which I think the FTC maintains.  Hope that helps.  They're just selling stuff, nothing evil.

When I picked up, a recording said  -  We're sorry, there is no representative available at this time.  and that they'd try again later...

Calls almost every day but there is no one there when I answer.

caller identified himself as the Nuance Company, was rude when informed the party he was calling was unavailable, refused to answer MY questions about who he was or why he was calling, and then hung up on me.  Class act for sure.

This caller shows up as "New Once" on my Caller ID... NOT Nuance.  If this is some telemarketing troller looking for live lines they obviously don't even know the REAL name of the company they pretend to be representing!!!

Say it quickly or slowly and it sounds close enough to a legitimate company.  ("Hey Honey... Someone called 'New Once' is calling... Do you know them?")

I've purchased from Nuance and like their products (Dragon, mostly).  But if this IS related to them I'll put a stop to my business with the very quickly.

A recording announced, "We're sorry but there is no representative available to take this call.  We'll try again another time."

Have gotten many calls at the home and now on my cell number.  How do I block and stop these calls?

Left no voicemail message.  We are on National Do Not Call List.  Filed complaint at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint.

This number is from Nuance a software company selling products like OmniPage.

I have been getting calls. Put them on the Call Blocking list with ATT. No help. Discovered that "Call Blocking" only works in the US. International Call Blocking is available but will block all international calls. Nuance (sounds like nuisance) is in Toronto so the donotcall registry doesn't work either. Only recourse is directly with company.

We sell software... the best way to make sure if you are not intrested in these calls is to call 866-771-6287 and talk to a live rep... do not try and add your name to this list through the machine!! It does not always work! call and tell them to stop calling! Please don't be rude the people that are calling you are not actually working directly with nuance we are contracted out by another company! if you wanna yell at anyone call the nuance headquaters and yell at them for forcing us to call the same people every day!

Also if you register on the national "do not call" list you still WILL get called! you have done business with us and that according to the DNC list is legal to do.

We have not done business with Nuance, and are on the DNC list.

If I had the discretionary income, I would buy the latest edition from Dragon...but I don't at this time.  And I am the one to call the shots, not them!

One of the products Nuance sells is the popular Dragon Dictate or Dragon naturally speaking a voice recognition software. I bought this online and I understand if they speak to us about some promotion but they simply keep calling and hang up. This is very annoying.
