I've received many calls on my caller ID from this number.

On 5/2/11, I received a hang-up call "No representative is available" on my cell phone at 1:21 PM EDT.

I kept getting these calls so I saved the number on my sell as IGNORE.

It is Nuance, makers of Dragon Naturally Speaking.  I called  and went through the process to stop the calls.  Didn't work.

Repeatedly getting the silent calls here too - what an abusive piece of s*** they are to conduct business this way, if it is really Nuance.

I caution those that call them and press '1' or any other # or key to activate their phone number removal -- your '1' (or anything else) could be giving them permission to use your phone line for something else, after all how many times do we press '1' to agree to something on an automated phone call. With the silent call, you could be 'agreeing' to anything by pressing '1'. You could find yourself suddenly paying for all the long distance calls they want to make or something much worse.

Keep getting calls for a couple months but no message left, finally called when home, selling nuance software. Have twice in a week called their customer service number (1-800--654-1187) to be removed from list. Told takes 24 hours to happen. Will see if this works. Doubt it, I'm also on do not call registry.  May take a report to our state attorney generals office.

I have been receiving calls from this number lately. There is never anyone on the other end and the ID reads "New Once". I really don't think this has anything to do with Nuance Software or, for that matter, anything legitimate.

I get 4-5 calls per day, every week day from Dragon Naturally Speaking (Nuance). I have repeatedly called to ask them to cease, but they hang up on me. Today I finally called their WorldWide Headquarters, and an agent by the name of Clint, assured me this would stop. Doubtful.

Thanks so much for this. These people called me daily for months, and it is going on year 2! They are argumentative and nasty. I called the 1-866 number above, option 1 was indeed an opt out choice, and it was all electronic. I HATE THESE PEOPLE. I loved being able to remove my previous private home number without speaking to one of these horrible, nasty, product [***].

Calls, does NOT answer when you pickup your phone, when you call back, no one answers, just rings and rings.

Some phones allow you to add numbers to be blocked, try that if you can or report them to your provider!

This phone number belongs to Nauance Company that sells Omni Products.  I laugh every time I see how my phone shows new once.  I did purchase a scanner that doesn't need a computer, and the OmiPage software.  So I know why I'm getting the calls.  (I'm tired of them calling me before I get out of bed) .OmniPage allows you to scan pages in--like reports that need to be answered in the report.  That way you don't have to fill it out with an ink pen.

Wish I could actually block it...It's on the Block list at my ISP, and still I get calls... from Nuance this time, but pretty, pretty sure I have gotten calls from fundraisers and Alarm companies, etc. etc.  in the past. I think it's a 3rd party telemarketing clearing house.   I like NUANCE and I am a stock holder and happily use their great software. They always email me abut upgrade offers.  Wish they would not allow this tele-spam.

so I no longer answer this number, or I'll use the "do not disturb" feature.

Nuance needs to change their name to Nuisance. I don't want these high pressure calls from their amateur, high-pressure telemarketers.

Nuance is the company behind Dragon Naturally Speaknig Speech to Text Software. They want to seel you an upgrade, they do this every year.

These calls are from Nuance Software.  They sell a digital/ scanning product called Paperport.  It is a good product that I use all the time.  I upgrade every two years or so.  I don't really appreciate these unsolicited sales calls.
