Message said it was from an inmate in the detension center.  That would be my stepson who was arrested in mid June.

This number, is registered as an out going line, for a Washington State Correctional Facility.  One of the facilities that are governed, by the DOC. (Dept of Corrections)http://www.doc.wa.gov/facilities/prisons.asp

The company that routes this number, is Global Tel-Link (GTL.)
If you do not answer the phone call, you will receive a generated message that basically says, if you want to speak to the inmate, you will have to set up an account, with (GTL.)
 THEN, they give you the official (main) GTL toll free number, to set up the account.  (usually that number is 866-230-7761

..again, this number (866-800-0234) will only appear in your "caller I.D." if an inmate at one of the DOC facilities, is trying to make a collect call.

I didn't answer the call.

I called it back and got this message;

the number is 1 866 230 7761 but it shows up unknown.

It came in because my fiance is an inmate at twin towers correctional facility and I had 200 dollars worth of calls on my phone already and they wont let you go over that without setting up an account with Global Tel Link.  I know it's not a scam because I talked to a bunch of people at the LA county jail and that is what I have to do to let him reach me unless I put more money on his books for him to buy a phone card.

This guy called Carlos Ernesto Coreas keeps calling me and calling me and its annoying, He is also threating my boyfriend that is in another jail if i dont answer his calls. And i want these calls to stop N0W!
