I get a call from this number on a daily basis now. I never pick up, because I know it's a load of crap.

Just called this number back after at least 2 calls a day for the last few weeks. They refused to say what the company did. I asked them where in India they are based and he said New Delhi.We owe no money and have only lived in the US for a year.

I have been getting calls from this 1-866-825-4574 # for weeks. Its always at this same time in the morning [8:00] and no one ever says anything. They continue to call throughout the day, and it's driving me nuts!! I can't block the call on my phone, but there must be someting we can do about this.

Obviously they do not pick up, it is some sort of telemarketing system. Here are some things that can be done:
1) Panasonic phones can be programed to auto block any programed number (most new digital phones have this feature.
2) your phone service will hav anonymous phone block - for a fee. Isn't $1.99 a month worth the privacy??
3) buy the Tele-zapper. Similar to anonymous call blocker, it gives the disconnected signal as the phone rings, the marketing systems then auto delete the number because (obviously) each auto call costs someone, somewhere, money. Why call a disconnected number.
4) changing your number is not the correct option. Usually you are using someone elses number who may have subscribed to "free offers."
5) DO NOT use you phone number for ANY contact information. Bottom line is - companies sell your number to get whatever income they can to subsidize this poor economy. PERIOD....

I just got a call from this number and they told me that all of my phone calls are recorded.  ???  Who are these people?

This number calls morning, noon and night almost everyday. When I answered, I got no warm body to talk to and the background noise sounded like a lot of people talking.  How do you go about filing a complaint?

They called me at least 3-4 times a day, most of the time i would pick up and music would play then they would hang up, Then someone started answering and asking for someone i have never heard of by a guy who could barely speak english and demanded they stop calling me. Then they kept callin so i threaten castration and havent received a phone call since

OK.  Called again today.  I didn't pick up but did call them back.

Man wanted to me to verify my SS# and DOB  (sure...) but would not clearly state what kind of business they are in.  I think it is a debt agency.  My twin doesn't have good credit (I know, sounds like a soap opera plot).  Wonder if that's what has happened...

They called my apartment before 8AM this morning (a Saturday). They left no msg. I was so mad that they called me so early. I Googled the number and came across these comments. After seeing that they will keep calling, I called the number back. A lady with an Indian accent answered and said, "How can I help you?" I replied, "I don't know. You called me and woke me up and then did not leave a message."  She interrupted me and sais she wanted to speak to a "Michael". There is no Michael here. Never has been. Now, I do have a brother named Michael - but she did not give a last name. I did not offer up that information. If it was my brother they were looking for, it really makes me angry that collection companies (if this is what this is) can call family members at ungoddly hours. I thought that there was a law that they could not call before 9am. She said she would remove my name from their list. We shall see.

I've had my current number for a year and a half, and apparently I've inherited a deadbeat couple's old number. I get calls pretty much on a daily basis from this and other collection agencies. I've tried being polite, I've also called them every curse word in the book, and everything in-between. I've explained 1,000 times that the people they are looking for do not have my number, and I've even left my answering machine message saying so. In almost all cases, they simply hang up on me. NOTHING STOPS THE CALLS.

You can read some of these collection agency websites and they proudly describe their philosophy of irritation into submission. They feel that if they interrupt your life enough, you will get annoyed to the point where you will pay your bills to stop the harassment. I can't imagine that's worked more than twice in the history of man, and I think it's fairly safe to assume that people's phone bills are usually the first thing to not get paid and then cut off.

I also don't understand what is gained by having some of these people who's attempt at English is completely unintelligible.

For everyone that mentions picking up and no one being on the other end, that's because people don't call you, auto dialers do. In the event that someone answers the phone, they simply transfer you to the next available dirt-bag, who may be harassing someone else or on his rice break.

Received the call on Dec 1, 2009 at 8:13 am. Didn't answer it but was curious to who had called and didn't leave a message. I looked at reverse directories that suggested trying entering the phone number into Google. When I did, this site came up. I have no credit card debt or any loans so no debt at all. From the looks of the other posts, it would appear to be a scam debt collection agency.

this person calls all the time i dont know how they got my phone number but i wish they would stop they call as early as 6 am and as late as 11 pm which is so rude than when u pick up no one talks now they some how got my moms phone number and they harass her at all times of the day and my mom picked up and she couldnt understand one word he said so she hung up

They call here and all you hear is music. No one talks or anything, it's almost like you are on hold or something.

[***] are goin down! I hate these idiots! They talk about stuff that needs to be paid for, but I know damn well I've already done my business, a few years back. Some dude REALLY tryin to get me to pay a bill for 200 and somethin dollars. Wack!! These people need to get a life! Or yet a real job! Punk ass's!
