Michael, your call forwarding idea is, in a word...AWESOME!  I'm going to recommend that everyone do this...  :)  Isn't technology great?

I just got this number in May and we get all these calls. Might have it turned off. They drive you crazy and when you answer they dont.

these calls started two days ago - a d**ned nuisance.  I am on the do not call list but this seem to be no deterrent to these people.

This company is blocking their number and won't reveal their name.  I found them.   Call their real number, option 2 and speak to a supervisor.  They will tell you they can call until midnight which is against federal law, even for surveys.

Four calls in two hours tonight!  I have my ringtone set to "no ring" for this number, and I don't have voicemail available, so they just show up as missed calls.  I wonder if they will ever give up....

This annoying surveyor (supposedly) is run by a company owned by Walter D. Clinton; you may reach his home at 410-867-6585; a related company is called the Communications Center in WASHINGTON, DC. Why not call Mr. Clinton at his home (do a star 67) and ask him some annoying questions?

Called 4 times in two days.   Left no message

Called at 9:45 pm - I told them that they could not call after 9:pm by law and was told "oh no, I have until 10 PM".  Then proceeded to ask for someone who doesn't live here and we have never heard of.  Assuming debt collector.  

Woke us from sleep as we get up at 5 am.

They called told them I was on the do not call registry.  They said it doesn't apply to them since they are. It asking me to purchase anything.  I instructed them not to call.  They said if I asked them nicely, they would place me on their do not call list.  They are extremely bold.  I told him not to call again and I hung up.

The NDNC list only has jurisdiction over SALES calls. If they are calling about a survey, political organization, or charity you have to ask them to take you off of their call list. Note when and who and your number will be removed after a certain number of days. If they call back after the grace period they have to remove you then you can report it.  It's not the government not working... When you register on the ndnc list it explains those three stipulations. It's not the governments fault that the jurisdiction doesn't go where you want it to.

IF I answer /and I mostly don't/ they HANG UP!  WTH?

This company called and asked some questions as a research firm.  I asked for my number to be removed from their system and Michael refused to do so unless I answer his question.  From what I understand, if you request that they put you on their do not call list, they are obligated by Federal law to do so.  I hung up and then called back and one of the options is to remove the number from their systems and if the number is removed, you give others the right to make discussions on your behalf.  This is not a company that I would prefer to deal with.

After re-reading my post, I realize that it did not sound right.  This company, if they continue to do business like what is being stated in the posts, someone should follow up with reporting them it the FCC.  What I meant is that the call was an annoyance but if they continue, they need to be legally stopped.

They call repeatedly and when I answer they hang up.

Called again today at 8:56pm. no answer on other end. Every time they call  they hangup.
