STOP CALLING

Polite young guy called asking for my daughter who is a freshman in college. I stated she was not here. He said they'd try back. I just threw out the line "she doesn't live here any more"...and he politely said, "okay, I'll take her off the list". Problem resolved. Did not bother asking what company it was, but I think it's a research company.

I receive a call from 866-869-1920 three/four times a week, sometimes more , for the past few weeks.  I do not answer as number is not recognized.  no message is left in my voicemail.  this is most annoying.  who can I report this too?  I believe it is not a legitimate call as no message is ever left.

These people call all day, every day, for days and months.
I am figuring they are a company who verifies valid numbers for other companies (we also get weird calls from a 'Gila Corp', a lot of times right after the 1800 service calls).
They never leave a message, just hang up when the answering machine picks up.
Today they called at 5:40pm, 5:46pm, 6:14pm, 6:21pm, 6:28pm, 6:34pm and I am sure they arent done for the evening.

I put my number into 'do not call' list. I like that they 'inform' me that my opinion will not be relevant if I do this!!! hahahaha!!!

The do not call list is a joke. Complain all you want. Does it make you feel better?

I got a call from these people.  Did anyone happen to get this phone call right after they filled out an online survey?  Just curious.

This call cam on my cell 1-000-866-869-1920.... I thought it was a over seas number and I have been hearing a lot of scams from over seas...Also being Tax Season , there is a lot of Department of treasury calls that to steal personal identity and money and to fool dumb folk to cash large checks and take a small amount and send them the rest. I do not answer my phone on numbers I do not know. I think my cell services sells out my number.

Someone called and asked for the homeowners by name and I told them that my mom is 89 years old and my dad passed away. they said they'd try not call again. She said they were doing market research that involved real estate. She said that she'd try to get our number taken of their list but, she didn't promise to. I hope this isn't part of some sort of scam.

  Caller i.d. using Verizon says "unavailable." Never leaves a message. Called 5:45pm and then 8:14pm today.

I never had harassing calls before I registered for the do not call list. I think someone in the government is selling those numbers! Going to get rid of my phone! The government charges over $25 a month in taxes and fees! What happened to freedom of speech, how can they tax a Constitutional right?

I keep getting calls from the number 866_869_1920 and when they call they leave no message they even call on Sundays I'm really getting tired of it.

They call at 9:40 at night? WTF?

They have called twice a day every day for the past 2 weeks. Annoying! The do not call list had so many exemptions that it is useless to even sign up.

This number called twice in a ten minute period.

These guys are royal jerks!! Just got a call from them at 9:52 pm.  That's ridiculous.  When I asked who was calling, after I told them my husband was not available, they said it was their policy not  to disclose their company.  Obviously a company that has a "policy" that leaves them most comfortable skulking in the shadows.  Probably another company parading to call as a "survey" when they are really trying to get you to buy something.  Let your phone roll to voicemail if you see this number coming!!  

I wish there were someone in government with the fortitude to stop these infernal calls for once and for all...trouble is, they're
probably political calls, and as the old saying goes..."barbers don't charge each other to cut their hair"  I'm sick and tired of them. I think the media could probably get many miles if they did a complete investigation on these damned things and get to the root that is obviously disallowing any legislation to limit them...it stinks to high heaven.

I'm not that far from pulling the plug on the landline and plugging it in only when I want to make a call...

The number I left below was just this morning's crop, first one.  Last night's three time caller was not written down because I did not have a pencil and paper at the ready.  I'll be damned if I'm going to live the rest of my life with pencil and paper ready to record some nuisance in a futile effort to make it stop.
