- ChrisI found a way to get back at them and if enough people do this, they will be totally screwed. Call your bank or credit card company and request a new card with a different number - your account remains the same, only the number changes. Once your current card is incative, accept their offer. As soon as you recieve the gift card, use it. They won't be able to charge your new card number unless you give them specific permission (IE, accepting the offer again under the new number). I change my credit card number twice a year just to avoid id theft. I've done it to them twice so far! The called me yesterday and they wer PISSED! I don't think they will call me again but if they do, I'm gonna screw them again!
- Caller: Platinum Rewards
- Amythese people called me at 8am. They asked if it was me (Amy) and when I said yes they said I won a $50 Walmart gift card. Then they confirmed my credit card number and I said "HUH??? OH NO, Im not going to get scammed again...." thats when they hung up on me. This happened to me a couple months ago. My other credit card was compromised and I had to get a new one. These people are THIEVES.
- DawnThey are calling 2-3 times a day. There is silence and then a click. I don't get it.
- TonyThese people continue to call my cellphone at all hours of the day even after I asked them to stop calling two month ago.
- lynnOk, what's the current solution? They're driving me nuts. If they are truly telemarketers, wouldn't they want to wait for you to answer before they hang up??? The call disconnects as soon as I answer, so they aren't even trying to talk to me, they just want to call!!!
- Caller: ?

- MarThese idiots kept calling and calling several times a day. I thought that I was missing the call. I do not worry about collection calls because I keep up on my bills. So I kept trying to call them back. well needless to say the same thing "busy". Well I finally Blocked that number from my phone... why bother.
- ByronThey called me and said they were from Capitol One and because my account was in good standing I was going to get a couple gift cards, never mentioning for what store. I had to listen to a few recorded commercials which I was not obligated to purchase at that time. I just had to say OK at the end of each commercial. I listened to the first couple. One was MediLink. The second--I don't remember. I hung up.
The marketer was very pushy. Called me "Mr Byron" which is my first name.
I don't even think I have a Capitol One card anymore.- Caller: supposedly Capitol One
- UnknownThese people will call and call and call I'm worried about them knowing my cc # how do they get this
- Caller: Don't Know
- Linda J. HarnessHow can one put a stop these rude and cowardly people that will not answer questions just give you the last four digits of your credit card numer and then tell you their sending you a package?
This was a call to my Cell Phone, if though calling home phones isn't bad enough! - KatieThey call me everyday and I don't answer, they never leave a voicemail and when I try to call back all I get is a busy tone.
- BobbyI got a call from them saying that I was a platinum member, quoted the last 4 digits of an old card of mine, and said I'd won a $100 gift card and a $300 grocery card. The card had been deactivated about 4 months prior, so I decided to play along. They ran through my 'prizes' and said I'd get the money and three brochures in the mail soon. (how they got my new address is beyond me) Then I got transferred to a guy who was supposed to tell me about these three brochures, and in the recording before the transfer was complete said I would be asked a question at the end and had to answer with a 'Yes'. When I told the next guy that my card was deactivated, he hung up on me! Soo glad verizon has 5 free blocked calls :)
- Amythey keep calling... I am not interested... somebody do something and that 609 cal back number does not accept incoming calls
- Kurt and Georgie CherryRepeatedly calling and hanging up on cell phone and running up my minutes! Who are you?????
- sk8nkidsI have had several of these calls. I am not interested and I want them to quit
- MaggieThey called me and told me they were calling about my credit card ending in the (last four digits of my debit card). FYI it was my card!! they wanted to get the rest of the card number to verify that it was the correct card and recited to me my "full name, address and telephone number"...This is scarey! When I ask them who they were again they said "Capital ??Something??" couldnt understand what they were saying and then I said and what does this have to do with my debit card and he hung up on me. I have tried numerous times to call this number back, day and night. They either hang up on me or its a continuous busy signal...I have changed my card and information pertaining to that card.

- Caller: american express card
- pat jThis number has continously called and hang up when I answer. Please, please stop calling my number. This is very annoying!!! Can the phone company do anything about this company?
- Caller: unknown
- KimI called my credit card company, Citibank and they said they have no control over who calls however the rep did opt me out of all Citibank promotions, marketing calls and mailing inserts. Citibank seemed unaware of this particular company but they did for what they had control over but they did indicate that they did not sell or hire The Career network.
